The closest estimate the hottest temperature recorded in London on Sunday 31st will win an ounce.
For example temperatures reached 29.8C last Sunday, so the winner would have been the closest to this number.
If multiple people guess the same number and they win, the ounce will be split accordingly. Entries will finish at 13:00 on Saturday 30th.

I'd been pushing it with 50-130 hour work weeks, and for a couple of years this was also alongside full-time education. It averaged about 70-110 hours per week for a good chunk of the time near the end before I cut my losses, but I was supporting my family in another household as well so I saw none of the benefits. Now I'm going on UC for a couple of months while I get my head and body sorted and it's not enough to live on, to be honest, and I really feel for everyone else going through similar. The amount of work stress I hear about - either in getting a job or keeping it... Things really changed after COVID.

I think cigarettes actually enhance the taste and smell of the terps in a spliff. I find it a lot more dull when I smoke raw. Just tickly as fuck.

the anticipation of getting high, including buying, receiving and rolling /preparing is more enjoyable than actually being blazed. but somehow sober me cant wait to blaze, and blazed me is always a bit anxious and paranoid.

There is not the difference between indica and sativa that people imagine.

Totally agree, as strains get crossed more and more the tastes and effects are getting similar across all types
OG's are hard to come by - I remember when cheese was everywhere in the 90's and the taste and smell was out of this world, even purple haze has disappeared and the terps were amazing with a knockout hit

I think there has to be an element of nostalgia or rose tinted specs but seems to me the feeling is so common that there must be some truth to it. It's certainly the case that I haven't come across anything with that old school skunky, cheesey, funk that used to seem so common. Original strains like cheese, northern lights, ak47, jack herrer, afghan kush etc are all things i miss.
Also been years and years since i saw what i would call proper blueberry which used to be so distinct, or tangy lemon haze that both used to be staples.
I do like a lot of modern bud but it does feel like theres something missing from much of it. Maybe it is just tollerance and a broader experience?

I think the problem was more people calling not very good weed stardog n then people started to get the impression it wasn't very good , a good bit of stardog is hard to come by these days but also hard to beat in terms of knock out effect

Hybrid ratios mean almost nothing, not sure how you could ensure which percentage of which parent comes through in the offspring or realistically claim 60/40, 50/50 etc.
If you knew that you started with 1 100% indica and 1 100% sativa then technically the offspring should be 50/50 , however from experience I can tell you that some would hold more indica traits and other Sativa....Pretty sure they just estimate it and hope for the best

All weed tastes the same to me, don’t get all the taste notes about fruity flavours but then it’s the same with wine and coffee to me. They are all great and affect me but I seem to have no discernible palette.

Would love to have some top cali static hash for the price of your crumble at the moment im smoking way more static hash than anything else got so much flower but loving static way too much
Long shot but would love it if you maybe considered some Δ¹⁰-THC/Delta-10 products in future. I can't for the life of me find anything on TES or LB - heard from mates it's not as potent as D8/9 but is great for anxiety and has more of a 'sativa', anti-nausea, pain-relieving effect. Sounds absolutely perfect. Think it might be decent for quite a lot of us on this site (including myself) who might use THC for medication purposes at home but without inducing too much sleepiness or mental 'fog' like D8/9, so maybe great for daytime or productivity? Hope you consider it sometime! Think with the right advertising on its benefits it would definitely attract tbf.
