Trying to gauge how slow Royal Mail is around Bank Holiday time to Northern Ireland..Was sent Tuesday 27th by normal post, today 4th of September..that's 6/7 working days..at what stage should I be panicking and contacting the vendor? And what would they be able to help with?

RM Mainland to NI has gone to shit recently. Don't know what's going on but it seems from any tracked items they sit at the UK regional mail centers for 1-2 days, probably waiting for sacks to fill up before sending onwards.
First class is very rarely next day anymore, usually 2+.

Not panicking, only been 2days, but how long should it take a vendor to mark as sent, after order is paid. And what happens with order, does it auto cancel?This is not with a new vendor,has 100+ sales and fab reviews
Auto cancels if not marked as sent 100 hours after it's marked as paid mate, then you can get your coin back from refund borg. 2 days for someone to send something in the week is a bit long. Have you messaged them?
Have not messaged yet as from posts here vendors seem to not like over reactions. Will msg now tho and see...does the option to get refund just appear after the 100 hours?

In Ireland, and have heard of company that will provide a UK address , and then picks up parcel to a Ireland depot, where you get a text and you can collect.. anyone used these for items from this site? Thoughts?
So you have 2 potential scenarios here:
1: You collect this from NI and drive it over the border yourself, after collecting it personally.
2: It gets sent on, is clearly also going to be subject to customs checks, and is via an unusual postage system not in amongst all the normal mail.
I'd be disinclined to be involved in this if it was being sent to me.

Only to a Northern Depot , you still get customs checks when it arrives in the Republic , unless you collect in NI
Yea just to clarify, it would be sent to a Northern Ireland depot, then transported across border, and collected in ROI..thinking it would bypass customs??

It’s a BTC problem not a Coinbase one.
BTC fees are high right now because there are more transactions ongoing than usual and people are willing to pay lots to prioritise their transaction.
Fees will return to previous amounts, likely within a couple weeks.
So basically you’re going to have to pay the ridiculous fee or wait it out.

Yeah... ouch... Am keeping an eye on https://mempool.space/ ...seems to give good enough indication when the fees are high or not - it's down by $3 today, compared to where it was yesterday when I ordered. (£6 fee for a £40 order...goddamnit).
Im having issues with how long transactions are taking. I’ve had a payment of over £450 sat in limbo for 5 days. Still pending. Frustrating is an understatement. Had to order a a smaller amount to see me through till I can get it back 🫣

Order sent 9 days ago. One automated mesg from vendor after 3 days. Have sent 4 msgs in past week and none read and no response. All I've asked is for the RM24 tracking id, so we can find out what has happened to package. Is there any point in this dispute?
I've only disputed once in my 6 years on here, same position as yourself.
Vendor (Pistach) sprang into action, and even sent me a free henry of cali.
Main thing, keep that dispute open until you're in possession of your order.

There are NO outside deliveries to Ireland getting through customs. They have clamped down hard due to the EU presidency residing in Ireland for the next 5months.
All the usual regular vendors who would ship to Ireland have ceased recently due to the heavy handed customs.

Have received numerous packages from don loco, the good stuff and northcollective over the last two months. No problems, touch wood!
Not sure about the eu presidency, but some vendors have stopped delivering because of many orders being nabbed. Got 2 love letters alone this week from 2 different vendors. First ones in ages. Who you ordering from that have had plenty land?

To IRELAND 10/11/23 Iam not going to go on about RealD’s hash as hundreds of reviews before me will tell you it’s the real thing , Iam just going to say about RealD’s stealth/Comms, I’ve had numerous accounts on here but broke phone lost passwords etc but mainly did all my ordering from Hashishin 30 day wait but always got through stealth amazing couldn’t get anything from England,then Hashishin has to go off line for a bit and Iam balls but just at that time RealD did a deal on hash so I took a punt and 6 grams arrived in a matter of days stealth amazing, so strike while the irons hot ordered another 6 arrived no problem, this is all over last two weeks 10/11/23 so went for it last sat 12grams and 2grams of Payton, I arrive home today and there it is sitting there with my wife saying you got a package the stealth RealD has going on is I have to say the best I’ve seen, RealD has the cutom charges to get stuff into Ireland sorted to a tee and amazing stealth re comms I couldn’t tell you as I’ve never had to contact RealD but that says it all top notch RealD I’ll be back onto you later for another order get my Christmas sorted.

This is a question to the Irish community here. Any suggestions on good apps with wallets that let you buy bitcoin with Irish debit cards.. Currently have the Edge app. There is an option to buy with debit card but errors out at end of process, and only worked with credit card. Does it depend on your bank.. Any info would be great, either here or by dm

You can always pay true pay pal either on paxful, but again fees are just crazy at the moment
