I use cannabis as an adjunct to managing pain from neuropathy and spinal cord damage. Not sure if there's a huge difference but I would offer some advice re CBD/THC ratios. If the patient is older and hasn't experienced cannabis before, make sure he's well dosed with CBD before introducing the THC to his system. It helps to mitigate the adverse effects like paranoia and depersonalization that may happen when first-time users dose large. Honestly, any high concentrate drops will do. Take a double dose 20 minutes before introducing the THC. Hope he gets some rest and relief.

I dont have experience but if i was going to suggest to someone who has cancer cannabis i would send them to youtube and tell them to search for rick simpson oil(RSO) and if they want to try it you can get some here on lb ;)
Hope this helps some people claim it can cure cancer and has saved them.

As the 90's started I'll admit to being into American Rock artists like Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt and Kiss. Also liked a bitta Journey, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon. Still have a lot of my tapes and records from back in the day. I've converted one room into a Music room. Got a tape deck, turntable, CD and MP3 player all wired into a decent set of speakers. But back to the 90's.

Must have been summer 92 that I went to my first rave. I live in NI so we those that are fimilar with things will remember Kellys in Portrush. Spent many saturday nights dancing to some amazing house music. Some epic tunes by artists who'se names I never did get, to loved up to care! As long as there was a big beat, piano break, hands in the air we didn't care. #goodtimes

I’ve had the Xmax V3 for a couple of months, absolutely great device but make sure you get dosing capsules if you get one as it saves a lot of hassle cleaning.

I also had to get a new one because I tried concentrate in the concentrate cup and it leaked out and ruined my oven I probably just done something wrong but just some merging to be wary of.

I have this vape too. Seems pretty decent for the price. My mate's got the mighty which is better but was twice the price. Agree completely on the dosing capsules.

A dab pen works loads better for extracts. I've got quite a basic one - utillian v2. Was like fifty quid. Will probably upgrade it as it's a pain to clean but it works really well and it's pocket sized.

I did the same thing a few years back, finally settled on an Arizer Solo 2 which ended up feeling more like a waste of money, i wish id saved up and got a Mighty first time around as that's what I'm saving for now, although the dogs latest visit to the vets has just disappeared 160 sheets from the "GetMeAMighty" jar so i might be joining you on the Xmax V3 gravy train for the foreseeable...

Another vote for the XmaX V3 here, if you can find a second hand pax in good condition you might pull a dub

Dynavap is a solid £50 vape, but you have to get used to heating it and it works better at home or with zero wind.

Once I was used to it I preferred it to my PAX 3 because better flavour, cleaning and no charging.

Tinymight 2 is an amazing vape for anyone spending S&B money - hits like a desktop on the go and rips through a water rig at home.

Other less expensive options worth looking into are: the Terpsicle and lotus by vapman -these require a water pipe of sorts tho.

I have been researching this exact same topic (also looking to switch to dry herb vaping). The two gold standard "budget" vapes are the XMAX V3 Pro and the Arizer Solo 2. I say budget in quotes because they will still set you back £100. As I understand it though, vapes are a market where you buy cheap, you buy twice.

The advantage of the XMAX V3 Pro is that it has an "on demand" mode (where you can heat the chamber for single hit as and when the mood takes you). The Solo 2 is a little better built and more stealthy. Otherwise, they are functionally the same.

If you want cheaper, then I would say dynamax range. They are manual heating, so there is a "hidden" cost of buying a decent lighter and learning to use it. However, I have seen other people here raving about them, so likely worth it for the long haul.

Dunno how much this counts, but I am looking to buy a XMAX V3 Pro myself.

I'm not sure where you are researching but the solo isn't great for existing smokers due to the slow extraction speed

Also it's not stealthier than the V3 in reality

Functionally they both extract weed but that's where the differences end

Solo is a predominantly a sipper this is because of the weak heater and the fact it needs the glass stem to heatsoak before you can start to extract nicely

Think of a McDonald's milkshake and that's the draw resistance


V3 is convection biased and you have a more open airflow in it but you will use a completely different style of inhalation to extract

V3 would be my choice for anyone who smokes out of those two

Terpcicle is decent, I use it with a globe or j-hook. Needs to be heated with a torch. Can stick hash or concentrate on top of the bud.

Looked at this many times but haven't swiped the card yet. Nice to see some love for it.

I don't use it as much as the Crafty+, however I'd say it better for a quick extraction. You can really load it too in comparison. It's just not as convenient, can't use a torch all the time with others around.
I did get a cheap glass one from Aliexpress and it broke after a couple of goes, not worth it for a cheaper one thereal TRWW one is far superior.

You should keep an eye out in the 2nd hand markets. People like the idea and loose interest.

A mate bought me a Yokan Evolve (was £22 on EBay). It’s really only good for one, maybe two tokes at a time before it needs a refill, but a year later and it’s still going strong. I still have the spare heating chamber it came with too.
I soak the chamber and lid in isopropyl fairly regularly.

Under a ton the Xmax V3 pro or the Dynavap are probably your best bets. I haven't tried the X-Max myself but the folks on the interwebs rate it. Dynavaps might hit a bit harder and probably better for hash or concentrates (b/c they can get to higher temps - use them on top of a bed of degummed hemp fibre or flower for this). On the other hand, they are a bit more fiddly and if you need to be stealthy, then butane lighter powered vapes are not the best choice. If you use mostly bud and want to use it on the go outside sometimes then maybe try the XMax. You can get 10% off from Vapefiend with the code 420, which will get you a V3 for £79 or a Dynavap M for £58 (you will also need a jet lighter for the Dynavap).

I've never understood the issue with coinbase. Everyone always states high fees yet EVERY other crypto I've used have had significantly higher fees than coinbase. If you were signed up to coinbase pro (now advanced trade) and buy using the portfolio app, then you get much reduced fees than usual. I literally pay like 40p in fees including the buying and sending.

It would depend on your needs/wants. It's $20 a month so unless you are going to be buying/sending enough crypto to rack up $20 worth of fees, it's probs not worth it. Your limit is determined by account not coinbase in general ie coinbase don't have a percentage value to go off, it goes off your location, use, payment methods etc. You can see this by going to the "limits" section of your account. Essentially, anyone that has a $300 limit is because of a uncomplete account that has maybe not been verified or has not signed up for the advanced trade. Go to settings and account limits on Coinbase to see this information. A fully set up account can have up to a $20,000 limit through b a n k transfers

im not signed up to advanced trade no so maybe thats why i have a limit, its complete otherwise.
i probably do use that much in fees thinking about it, maybe that will be the way to go, im going to setup and try a couple of these other ones our fellow biggas have suggested.

Fucking coinbase closed my account, kind of my fault for sending directly transax addy, but still, their overreach, its my fucking money and I can with it as I please. I use exodus now, exchange rates aren't as good but still easy to work with and no ID issues.

main issue with CB is the 300 daily limit, once a month me and a friend do a bigger order when that becomes a problem.

MJ has a cart & battery combo right there on his menu- screw the 510 thread cart into the charged battery and you are good to vape.

I personally wouldn’t start my vaping journey with carts- they are too strong and can basically make you cough like crazy if you are not prepared. Not saying I don’t love them, I do, I just wouldn’t start there.

Go on vapefiend.com. Buy yourself a dry herb vape. If you like the ritual of smoking buy a DynavapM which you fire up with a butane lighter but works asa vape. If you want to get away from all that lighter stuff then buy a Crafty+ or a Mighty and let te battery take the strain.

Buy a Henry (3.5g) of herb from anyone here (the likes of Canadian Imports or Dr.Greenthumb will even include NDD for free), grind, load and vape away.

Agreed, dry herb vapes is my preference also. Dynavap is a great recommendation from Polly, they just require a little patience to get your technique down, but it's worth it once you get there 👌.

Any battery that says it's suitable for a 510 thread cartridge will work for these carts from MJ, and also any cart on LB that is advertised as 510 thread fitting


I'd recommend this battery to use with this cartridge. This battery will fit any 510 cartridge, so the one above is perfect and is compatable. Try not to over think it with voltages etc. , this battery I've linked comes with 3 pre-set heat settings which are basically your voltages 👍.

There are "Dry herb vapes" which you put actual bud inside and vape, these are completely different than cartridges. If you'd like a cartridge as shown above by MJ, these are made with a cannabis concentrate in liquid form and are paired with a battery to operate them.
