Lately the fees for transferring Bitcoin are becoming absolutely ridiculous. I was wondering if it could potentially be cheaper for everyone if a different cryptocurrency with smaller fees was used as opposed to Bitcoin with fees through the roof! Is this a possibility?

I was wondering where is the best exchange to buy Bitcoin for buying stuff on here. Currently I use cryptopay.me but over the last few months it’s become increasingly expensive with fees. I currently pay over £10 as a mining fee every time I withdraw btc and there’s also a fee to buy. I just wondered if there is a cheaper alternative? Any tips or advice would be much appreciated! I have tried quite a few different strains from various vendors on here and I do have my personal favourites but I’m wondering if there’s any I may have missed. When buying Bitcoin I’ve always noticed there to be a fee but these are now becoming more than ever to the point that it’s hardly worth ordering off this site. I understand it’s not vendors fault & it’s such a shame because I love this community & the site is wonderful and full of awesomeness. For example for me to withdraw £30 worth of Bitcoin from my wallet to the vendors there is a mining fee of £13.60. I’m not sure what that is as a percentage but it’s nearly 50% so it costs me £45 to transfer £30 :( also I have to pay a fee when purchasing the original Bitcoin meaning that for me 7g which should cost around $85 actually is more like $100. This means that using Bitcoin is meaning that I’m paying twice as much as I would buying bud from the street!
