Dry Herb Vapes
I’m wanting to quit smoking & move on to vaping in the near future if I possibly can. I was looking at dry herb vape pens but I’m not sure which one is best... I was hoping I could get a few recommendations?

Hi, I'd smoked joints with tobacco for foury years plus, then got myself a Dynavap, not looked back since and touched bacci for five months now. Great innovation, would definitely recommend.

I decided the same thing a few weeks ago. I got the dynavap and yeah you still use a lighter with it and can get a nice hit from it so pretty close to the smoking experience. But I still want them dirty baccy joints, I haven't managed to quit just yet. Vape normal e juice whilst at work during the day and a mixture of the dynavap and joints in the evening. Good luck with the quitting.

I 2nd budboy1980 on the storz and bickel devices anything by them is a killer. On the more budget end the smono 3 (fury 2 clone) can be had for £65 and if your looking to quit smoking a dynavap complete kit can be had from about a ton online. That's the closest analogue to smoking I have found with my 2021m

S&B Crafty + or S&B Mighty!!

I havea crafty (not the +) and the only thing that lets it down is the single battery not quite being enough for me...

greta bit o kit tho!!!

desktop vape = volcano!!!

Just to offer up an alternative, many smokers/ former smokers seem to take to butane easily.

Dynavap is my go to, Stickybrick or one of it's many clones for big hits.

There's a dedicated subreddit for this - here is their overview (https://www.reddit.com/r/vaporents/wiki/new-vapers-guide) and here is their list of vapes for different budgets (https://www.reddit.com/r/vaporents/wiki/vape-consensus). I have the Xmax Starry v3. It does the job.

S&B Mighty all day long, price stings a bit initially but you’ll see in no time it’s a worthy investment! I’m 8 years now off cigarettes and any kind of combustion. Life changing to be honest, the first 4 to 6 weeks is the hardest but you got this man :)

Dump the ‘in the near future’ and the ‘if I possibly can’ you absolutely can and you could start right now. Good luck man.

I’ve got a few sub £70 options including an old Airistech and a new Dynavap M. Wish I could love my Dynavap like other biggaz do, I just never get a consistent hit. I go from fek all to scorched lungs and back and think “why don’t I just let the tech do the work?” (I would say on the odd occasion I get it right it is great so I understand the fuss!)
Next step: buying a Crafty+......can’t wait!

get a mighty! i wish i did!! my crafty (non+) can only do 3 bowls at around 190 degrees before the battery runs out. the battery is the achilles heel of the product... and you cant charge it whilst its hot... otherwise its great! i only use it with buds tho, have never tried any concentrates!!

would advise you get the dosing caps as they make reloading the vape much quicker (also reduces the how quick you need to clean it) and very stealthy and come with a neat little smell proof container that you can put on your keyring!

All sound advice BB- thanks!

I have the dosing capsules but not a mighty or a crafty! They also fit in the boundless cfv V2 which you can get for less than a £100 nowdays. It punches well above it's weight as it uses the heater from their flagship tera vape and it also fits the storz and bickel dosing capsules which are amazing

Interesting DR, just checked out Boundless. The CFX is half the price of a Mighty but seems to have similar spec. I’m tempted (and now confused!)....

Boundless have loads of models, it's the cfv V2 that uses the dosing capsules not the cfx. I have no idea how it compares to a mighty but it hits nice and hard imo

I found moving to a single flame torch and heating at the base of the cap gave me consistent decent big hits.

Thanks DR, I do both those things, I’m just too crack-handed with the “feathering” or whatever it’s called. I used a tip to put sellotape over it and punch a little hole and experiment with sizes....helped a bit. Still seems like work! ;)

Ahhh fair enough :) I went through a fair few electronic vapes because I didn't want to have the hassle of butane and while they still have their uses I pretty much use my dynas and elev8r exclusively nowdays. The elev8r is interesting it allows you to extract anywhere from 0.05g to 0.5g in just a couple of hits, hits way heavier than the dynas.

Storz Bickel is the best company I think.
I have the "plenty" it's so funny to look at :D.
I tried the PAX but it wasn't as good.
