i was reading about cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (severe abdominal cramps and nausea/vomiting caused by cannabis) online today, and i realised that i've had this before, a few times actually, although rarely very badly. it's edibles that do it for me, only if i go mad with them though. i still can't really eat when i'm high these days, though, it seems to be getting worse since i gave up smoking.

i wondered if, seeing as there is so little formal research into the effects of cannabis, but so much that is informal, it might be useful to invite other biggas to report any negative or otherwise surprising effects of consumption, over-consumption, long-term consumption, or ceasing consumption. i mean, we all think we know what to look out for, but do we? i'd never even heard of chs before, and cannabis really messes my sleep up too, which can be very bad for you indeed.

a while ago, after half a lifetime of fairly heavy casual use of cannabis - with no ill effects whatsoever - one of my mates started growing and after a few years of being stoned literally the entire time was completely paranoid, stupid and mad and then died of throat cancer at fifty.

i mean, i don't want to be a downer, and i do tend towards thinking that when people fuck their lives up with drugs it's most usually something else that's the real problem, but everybody's got problems, right? obviously, i'm posting this on a drug dealer's forum - i am kinda pro drugs, really - but it doesn't hurt to be honest about the possible downsides so that we can all be a bit happier and safer.

also, given that one of the better known negative side effects of cannabis is acute psychosis, people have to have some funny stories - i mean, nobody ever died, right? apart from that young lad who got chopped up with a samurai sword in hainault the other year... and the poor cat as well, of course... honestly, i was mostly hoping for funnier stories than that, but i'll take what i can get. who here's been on a bender and found themselves running naked down the street chasing asylum seekers with a kitchen knife at two o'clock in the afternoon? i know some of you have...

been waiting for postman to deliver an order from gassed - just turned up, 4 hrs late (still ndd though - thx gassed, excellent service) - flat tyre maybe? anyway, every time i have to wait for something in the post i get so anxious and wound up i'm like a junkie on the cluck, and it's not like i don't think it's going to turn up or the police will get me or anything - i'm pretty sure it's just stored up anxiety from having to score in the 80s and 90s. is anyone else like this? or am i just some sort of fiend?

just bought an eighth of the cheapest hash, an eighth of the cheapest bud and a quarter of cheap shake from the gentlemen dealers to mix up together in joints for a budget smoke. tastes a bit sub par of course (although surprisingly ok for all that - i also highly recommend the gentlemen dealers full price products and commend their excellent customer service and delivery) but the high is fantastic - warm, buzzy and happy like good moroccan, but also trippy and strong. i very often get good results from mixing varieties, not just cheap stuff in january either - does anyone else like to do this?
