I use revolut as my only bank account. no need for a physical bank account,because i have a mastercard with them,all my earnings are paid into revolut,and did not need any photo id.I buy my bitcoins from them and then transfer them to my exodus wallet.fees are really low also :)

Btw. Ive been using the plain blockchain wallet for two years without any issues. Least hassle wallet Ive seen! And since I wont upgrade my OS on my mac its one of the few I can actually use. Just sayin, cause Ive seen how it is hated upon on the net. Guess its the competition that spread this lie.

Exchanges still cant beat the price of btc I get on localbitcoinsdotcom. The only hassle is I need to order btc and go to my local national financial agency and pay a money transfer slip with cash. Thats not a prob tho, cause the teller is a very nice looking woman :P And btc is in my wallet in 3-6 hours after I pay.

Yeah they are good, I had just manage to get some coins from South America (sending cash) Cost me £40 tho, so privacy is bit pricey compare to coinbase, but over all really good experience on localbitcoins, they will be my main coins platform from now

Yeah this… Seriously stay away from Coinbase… literally the Govs bitch… Trackong fucking everything, Binance will comply eventually they’ll have to but I don’t think they’ll make it easy like Coinbase did. Coinbase seriously is the anti thesis of crypto.

I don't think one is able to receive btc via bitpanda. I had a refund last year and I think I managed to open a BRD/Coinbase wallet and had the refund sent to that wallet then used it to order something else on here

I've seen a few topics so far asking how to obtain BTC without KYC. I thought I'd make a topic to show a few ways / methods of doing so:

I'm trying to make my first purchase and realised that:

1 - Binance has a minimum withdrawal of 0.001 BTC (about $47).
2- The withdrawal fee on this would be of 0.0005 BTC (50%).

Am I doing something wrong here? How do you guys avoid these fees? Which exchange do you use?

LB only using BTC is a total fuck up imo, ridiculous to use a POW where it has to go through every single miner to prove work, there are a million other options that would be awesome, I mean NEXO is free… XRP takes seconds, BTC transactions for an 1/8 is retarded full stop.

exchanges come and go and so do their policies. its always best to have your own wallet. many free ones exist, just move your money there after you exchange a chunk. that money is truly yours and not captive to minimums or extra fees.

Yes, as long as you convert it to a stable coin such as USDT. Otherwise your total will fluctuate with the price of Bitcoin. If you want your 500 to stay at 500 then convert it all into a stable coin

never a good thing keeping these stable coins long term much better to keep BTC it levels out in the end anyway as some times youll pay more based on the BTC price at the time others will be cheaper if you can wait and watch the chart as you buy you can always make your purchase at a time the price is higher then if the price goes dowm your quids in i tend to not worrie either way now. i use ledger and withdraw BTC from binance (with fee of £20) to ledger, from there the fees for transactions to littlebiggy are roughly £1

My point was if you are buying BTC for the sole purpose of buying on sites like LB then your better of converting to a stable coin ad that will NEVER collapse and will stay true to the value of that currency at all times. Its a stable currency in the sense that $1 will stay valued at $1 and so on.
Customers who aren't interested in investing/trading wouldn't want to fall asleep with $500 in BTC and wake up to $250 BTC in their wallet if they use it for their "shopping."
Therefore the safe alternative for those people would be to buy BTC, convert it to a stable coin and only convert it back to BTC when they are making a transaction. It then serves them as an online wallet instead of forcing then to be investors...
I hope that clears up my point a bit ✌🏼

The cheapest way would be buy something like NEXO woth your fiat, transfer to a wallet for free then swap the NEXO for BTC in the wallet itself. Cheapest way it can be done.

Hi, it is a minefield, it is easier now there is the multi vendor option to checkout! I use Bitpanda the minimum is 0.0015, but the hash rate tracks the market mwan I think, itisusually a couple of quid to make the transfer.

Yeah, I use Bitpanda too…
Transaction fees change by the minute to reflect levels of activity on the blockchain. Bitpanda is generally cheap at weekends, particularly at night. It is then a couple of quid normally, but with that irritating 0.0015 minimum.
It’s pretty fast and easy though👍

Alright so in case there's another newbie like me around... I managed to sort this out! I avoided binance's awful fees by sending from my wallet (BRD) and payed only $0.70 in fees.

It’s kinda similar. BRD is a wallet so I think its main function is to store your crypto, but it allows you to buy and sell, transfer, etc . I’ve found that the fees BRD charges are way better than Binance, so definitely worth a shot!

not with binance now the fee charged by binance is returned to your account fully so the fee will only be down to the blockchain traffic and that for me is arond 30p to £1.30 from ledger to LB ;)

yes its new came in a few weeks ago and its automatic and puts it in your funding account its a bit tricky finding it and then covert it back into USDT. this is substantial as the fees were £20 now its free ;)

they now also do free bank deposits but i wont use this feature as i cant see why i sould make their job easy by tracking everything crypto as using this will give them your account details of your binance info so i do still pay a £3 fee via revolut but this way i keep the two seperate

If you have a small amount locked up by minimum transactions or crazy fees you can:

1 leave it in there as a small investment for a future purchase or two.

2 add more to it to then move all your coins to a wallet with no minimums and better control over fees.

The busiest times and highest fees on the btc network are when the price is going up. If you are holding a little while this is happening you are covering the fees with your gains.

im not sure how the exchanges play this but minimums on the blockchain and fees for that matter are a function of how many inputs are involved.

if your wallet is an accumulation of small amounts of bitcoin (like change in a pocket) thats a lot of inputs and it can make a transaction infeasible when fees are high.

Online consensus on Paybis:
After trawling through forums and review sites, I can't see anyone saying that they screwed them ever. Their rates for certain payment methods are a little high, but the wide array of possible methods as well as the customer support and speed they process is well received. They have a good 4.7 score on TrustPilot, and they send the TrustPilot review link to every customer.

Overall:
I was impressed with Paybis and I'm surprised they aren't mentioned more often in discussions of good exchanges. They are transparent, fast, professional, and trustworthy, even if their rates for some payment methods aren't number 1.
