Definitely a real disorder. Emergency room nurse here - I've seen many a patient come in with this. Hot hot showers make the vomiting stop but its only temporary, and yes the only actual cure is quitting. I would be devastated if I developed it to be honest! Lol

My most recent purchase was a hybrid (indica dominant) and my health has quickly deteriorated. I've managed okay with indica dominant hybrids in the past, but either this strain was incompatible with my health or I've just become more sativa-intolerant over the years.

Somehow lost my dry herb vape brush. You know the one.
Tried buying a set of similar brushes from Amazon but none of them have rounded bristly tips; they all have metal tips which don't clean the bits that need cleaning.
Searched high (no pun intended) and low on eBay and head shops too.

According to Reddit, something like a third (1/3) of long-term weed users will develop CHS (uncontrolled vomiting that only stops if you quit weed forever). So: any of you (or anyone you know) got it?

Yes I've read about this too. I get the occasional reflux issue but I put that down to age.... I've been using the herb since uhm at a concert - Beach Boys & Richie Havens, Cocker & others at Crystal Palace in, yup 1972.

Ugh if he hasn't started vomiting yet he's in the prodromal phase and once he hits the vomiting phase he'll have to quit weed for good, so maybe suggest a T break (like he'd listen, I know, I know)?

It's definitely real, I came back to this post for a friend from online. He was sat in ER this morning and has been there a few times but they couldn't figure what until he told them he smoked. They've told him 6 months quitting and go back. So if anyone does have more information, please let me know..
Nope. I've heard of it, but not experienced it. I'm 39 and started smoking at 14/15. I've not smoked all the time in that period and had times where I've not smoked for months, but I've smoked more than not. The only thing I have is a cough through smoking too much tobacco but I can get coughing fits if smoking a joint. The coughing can then tense my throat up and it feels quite tight when drawing on a joint. I also take down pockets of air when swallowing and these pockets of air can get trapped in my throat making the tight feeling worse. I have to do a good few burps to clear it all 🤷♂️

I’ve actually had this and thought it was the end of toking for me. This was 5 years ago after 2 years of daily smoking. I would wake up and just vomit back to back until I smoke a spliff. It was horrible. I quit smoking for a year because of it and when I started back up, I had managed to cut out tobacco so I no longer smoke cigarettes. I don’t know if that helped but since I started smoking just weed only, I haven’t had any issues. Not sure if it means I’m cured or if cutting out tobacco is what made a difference.
Its real though i would question the percentage who develop it.
Most people at some time actually experience this in a small way its called a whitey(never had one but seen others take them),i know people who after this never touched cannabis again some might give it up for a few years then start again but if you whitey a lot you have a chance of getting the ultimate whitey CHS.

Paid for an ounce and patted self on back for taking the leap. Then I got a text from coinbase saying my payment would be delayed because they suspected it wasn't me who sent the payment. I tried re-verifying my identity via webcam and driver's license etc but they refused to accept the verification. Bottom line, payment will be delayed 72 hours.
What happens if bitcoin value drops over the next 72 hours? Will the vendor then receive insufficient payment and cancel my order?

My resting heart rate is below 60; last night it was as low as 52. I initially thought it was some kind of post-covid heart issue, but a quick google suggested that bradycardia (slow heart rate) can be caused by chronic marijuana use.

I don't, no. But I know how it's been for the past year or so, and it was only a few months ago that it started dropping below 60. Maybe years of panic attacks and related palpitations gave me great cardio tone?
Hey, just seen your topic which caught my eye as my other half had a very similar issue. She thought it was due to chronic weed use as well. It turned out that she had developed a Thyroid problem and the weed had actually previously been helping keep it at bay! Insufficient Thyroid hormones can cause slowed heart rates. I would keep an eye on your blood pressure too just to make sure its not dropping too low. Its probably none of the above but Id rather have said something that might offer some help than nothing at all.

Low heart rate can be a sign of cardiovascular fitness so can be a good thing. How much do you exercise? I do cardio 6-7 times a week and my resting heart rate is usually 36-38 in the morning (humble brag!). Elite level athletes have been known to have heart rates under 30!
I have long covid so I can't do cardio. Any cardio triggers a relapse. So I just do light resistance work and stretches these days, which sucks. Having said that, my BMI is at the low end of normal - I don't know if that affects HR too?

So I suck at Among Us when I've vaped (too slow to react and too sus in general; I'm the stoner standing over a dead body in a daze thinking "that chunk of meat looks tasty"), and I don't like high-adrenaline anything when I'm tryna be mellow, so I've recently started playing laidback games like Ooblets or Minecraft or whatever. Interested to hear what everyone else plays when high/ stoned/ tryna chill
I've played a lot of "Civ 5", kinda nice to play solo against the AI as there's no pressure with how long you take your time and depending on difficulty setting it can be a challenge still.
I also play "Rust" but I've been playing on a RP server for the last few years so it's a lot more relaxing than vanilla servers.

I find Zelda games and Mario Kart more my speed when I’m stoned. Mario kart is pretty hilarious when your off your tits. Haha I never had a Commodor 64 but my big bro had a Gameboy and I recently found a gameplay video of a really old obscure Gameboy game I used to love and omg the nostalgia hearing those sounds for the first time since I was a small kid!!! I just sat there watching the gameplay video for hours.

For me when I vape I love a good single player game with 100s of side quests like Assasins Creed, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima (just finished that and it is an incredible game). If I smoke a joint I'm usually not as keen on using my brain so I usually just smash on GTA or Saints Row and just go around shooting and killing NPC's.
Feel old, mid 50s, hate computer games, don’t have console or pc, like cards,cribbage, dominoes (west Indian style) risk, chequers, etc. But most of all I play music all day. I’m weird I play chess online when bombed, don’t care if I lose.

When you see an asset pumping the way bitcoin is at the moment it’s always tempting to jump on board. Trick is to never buy the top. Bitcoin is very close to an all time high once that’s reached a lot of people are speculating a dump back to 12-14k. If you’re looking for short term gain maybe better to get into alts like ethereum or Xrp. If you do put some money in and make some gains take the profit!

Crypto,in varying degrees,is too unstable to invest in. Buying crypto is a gamble and like any punt should only be undertaken with sums you can afford to lose.
Exactly my way of thinking at the moment. Joined beginning of Dec 20 when it was around 12k. Hindsight I know but wish I'd bought more btc for cheaper weed now. Then again the other week nearly bought a load of btc when it was over 30k. Now I'd be woeful. Unless it now goes up to 100k. Aaaagh! Just buy it when you need to buy weed and you won't go mad like me. Gibber. :-)

Been using a Black Mamba for a couple of years due to decent price, but it's recently started to behave a little erratically so I'm guessing it'll die a natural death some time soon. Someone recommend me a replacement that's not crazy expensive, please
from someone’s that’s recently made the change from joints for 15 years to vaping nearly exclusively i’d honestly say save up and jump right to a Mighty, change your life and it pays for itself in no time, I’ve got a NewVape Flowerpot and it hits like a bong, off barely any material, best thing I ever did, I’ve had a few Entry level vapes and they just don’t work the same imo, used my dynavap M about 3 times and gave up on it and went back to joints.
Yes you use a torch lighter, it hits super hard man, only has a 0.1g bowl but somehow it kicks the shit out of you everytime. Have a read of some reviews it's an incredible device!

Been using an Arizer solo 2 for 6 months and think it’s the nuts. Battery life lasts long. Fully adjustable temp settings and just easy to use.
I agree. My first dry vape and tbh at first I wasn't that impressed but after a small learning curve I got the hang of it. A little bit of bud goes a long way. The only problem is because it's so smooth I have trouble working out when to stop it just seems to keep giving a buzz on each draw!
I have a Pax3, Arizer extreme Q and a Dynavap. I didn't ever really get into the Dynavap, but it is cheap and if you figure it out how to use it: apparently can be a hard hitter ( a lot of youtube video's about this ). Pax 3: very portable and overall great. A lot of accessories available to make it more into a hard hitter ( but it won't blow your socks of ). Customer care of Pax is awesome, but be sure to buy a real one. A lot of fakes out there, that look like the real thing.

Update: I got the Xmax Starry 3.0 and so far loving it. Then again, anything is amazing compared to the Black Mamba.
The mighty is the best all rounder but pricey. The crafty performs just as good with less battery life for £180.
The Battery on the crafty is shit, I've been through 3 of them because the battery keeps dying, gave up on crafty after that.
I've also got a plenty which is good but in my opinion requires way to much sucking.
My everyday goto vape is the Volcano, does all the sucking for you and then you just chug that bag like a glue sniffer.

Yeah the black mamba requires a lot of sucking too. Every time I get a new glass mouthpiece I wiggle the metal "filter" until it's got a 1-2mm gap to allow more air flow, which helps, but it's still hard work. Heard amazing things about the Pax 3 and the Firefly but they're a bit out of my budget.
If you can do without the concentrate insert and the app i’d look at the pax 2 then. It takes a little bit longer to heat up but It’s still a highly regarded vape and you definitely don’t need to bust a lung taking a toke.

I’ve been using a pax 3 for a year now and have no complaints. It comes with a concentrate insert and you can connect to an app on your phone for ultra precision vapage... not sure if it falls into the realms of crazy expensive though.
I've haze v3 dual, which is now fucked, as only one chamber is working and had to gafo tape the battery compartment.

Chose the multiple orders option for postage because I wanted to buy something else as well. Then when I tried to buy the other product, and chose special delivery as the postage option I wanted to pay for, I got a message in red telling me to Wait before placing another order. How do I rectify this?
Just give the coin 30mins (not even that most of the time) to go through to the vendor and it'll say 'paid' on the orders page. Then you can order from someone else. :)
What??? There’s an easy way to do multiple orders? Can someone tell me how because I always fuck this up. Quite often want more than one stain from a vendor and never get it right. I’ve literally just done this with TGT, bought 2 strains and paid for it all under one order... still no idea if it’s gone through properly. How's RM working for you all these days? Haven't ordered weed for a while now, partly because I was ill (and apparently smoking/ vaping might make it more likely to get covid complications) and partly because our postie has a new thing of not delivering anything during the week then bringing literally all our mail on Saturday. Unless that's just how things turned out over the last 2 weeks. But yeah anyway was wondering if mail delivery is going smoothly for you guys.
Social distancing in mail centres and delivery offices, huge volumes of parcels and workers off due to self-isolating are all putting a strain on the company no doubt. I'm sure there are many RM workers off due to showing symptoms and It's a crowded environment to work in. Delivery staff just can't be replaced easily so it's not unlikely that in some offices the post just isn't being delivered in certain postcodes.
I've been waiting 10 days for a recent order, not worrying too much yet.

It all depends where you are located. Some post is unaffected (my current vendor and mine). However, some will be slowing down again.
We are seeing odd delays coming through. Also there were delays during first lockdown so we anticipate more delays with Lockdown2. Hopefully not.
Also - Last year we started our xmas break midway through December and my break was not a break as i had to constantly reassure people items were sent and give refs etc, all due to RM delays.
With this in mind and with the experience we have we will start our xmas break this year around (+or- 4 days)Decemeber 7th and reopen around January 4th.

Currently waiting for an order sent firdt class sat 24th in the morning and its now thurs 29th. Other orders from this very reputable seller normally arrive nest day so no doubt due to RM. Anyone else waiting for anything sent in this sort of timeframe?

Hey guys. Placed an order on Monday 19th Oct. It was with NDD with MJ who has been a top top vendor in my opinion. Never let me down and always had the best products and stealth with packaging. However my order has not arrived yet and it is now Sunday 25th Oct. Usually his packages come within 3 days (even during lockdown). What should i do guys? Never had a package not arrive before. no point worrying about it.. obviously don't be complacent. pay for special delivery and choose a a vendor with top stealth. bobbys patting themselves on the back for taking a few parcels which probably made it to obvious to what was inside (smell & feel). meanwhile 99.999% got through fine.

Hey mate. Hootan usually has some lovely top shelf stuff that normally hits the spot with some nice couch lock. Currently waiting on the Saphire Scout but from reviews it looks good. TGT have some nice Lemom Sorbet that hits nicely and gives good chronic eyes. Currently waiting on some Dogwalker OG and Papaya also from TGT so you could ask them which is more potent of the three? I've always found both vendors very helpful. Hootan is particular is fast to reply and quick to ship but can't go wrong with either in my opinion.
If money isn't an issue then maybe some Cali from Hollyweed if it's still in stock. I think they had some nice looking White Runtz. MJ has some crumble up too and if you throw a little into any joint of herb it'll kick it into 5th gear. Hope this helps mate and happy blazing / sleeping :)

Nice. Hadn't even checked out Hootan before (usually get from RB but he seems to have mostly sativa shit this week) - they only seem to have tiny quantities and I was looking to buy a half, but I appreciate the recommendation anyway.
Yeah I just seen he's practically sold out. TGT have good sized quantites for a good price in my opinion. Although I haven't tried DIUK, I've only heard / seen good things about them and they seem to have a nice selection too. Hope you find what you're after mate.

If you want bud then THEGREENTEAM has all you can smoke in every budget scale but they don't often have extracts/edibles for those you'd be silly to go anywhere other than mjconcentrates! RB is great but choice is a bit thin at the moment my first choice is always TGT for high bud and fair prices with stock to accommodate.

Also if you've "failed" the ID check once on any site they will all know and if you get a chargeback or failed purchase on your card because of it then your card gets secretly locked for all online buys for at least a week unless you ring your bank. (I used to work with this bank shit).

Couple years ago it was Prime Day or something and there was this amazing deal, 100 condoms for £5 or something, and I was in a happy active relationship at the time so I thought why not, and ordered them.
They turned up a few days late, the envelope ripped fully open, and someone had scribbled on the envelope: "Sorry! We opened this by mistake, thought it was for us."
(They didn't have the courtesy to sign their name so I have no idea which of my neighbours it was that opened it. I did waste a few days trying to figure it out from the expression on their face when they saw me, but then I remembered that I'm shit at reading facial expressions so I'll just assume it's all of them)

The Wire - best thing ever written. Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this

Oh my god its been years since I've watched utopia and now I'm all excited to dive into the twisted wacky world of 90's conspiracies that now seem quick mundane as they are basically happening now
Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.

Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.
If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.
End of the fucking world is really good. Strange and offbeat which I like. With some characters that don’t give a fuck. And it’s British and very relatable (even though it’s about a lad that thinks he’s a psychopath haha).

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.
To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.
If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!

Since it hasn’t been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Won’t spoilt it anymore
Watching Yellowjackets at the moment, pretty good but if you watch the pilot episode don’t be put off as that’s a bit shit, it does get better!

just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).
If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.

A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

Fargo is probably the best series ever after GOT. Better Call Saul was brilliant too after a slow start. Better than Breaking Bad for me.
All the seasons are good and different stories so don't need to watch in order. All true apparently. The movie's a bit dated now but a great watch too.

Murder Mountain on Netflix. An oldie but a goodie. All about the emerald triangle in California and how it moved from illegal weed growing into legalisation and the lawless nature of the industry.

I was a heavy smoker for years (half oz a week) then suddenly i started having panic attacks after smoking with pulpatations too. I gave up for ages but i really miss having a smoke so ive started having some very small amounts of morrocan hash this last year, which so far seems like it causes less problems although im still very nervous about having too much. If i smoke most weed thats around ill feel like ive had 4 cups of strong coffee :( Weed used to be relaxing but now feels like a stimulant . Ive also ended up cutting coffee and most hardcore sugar out of my diet as that seemed like it was also starting to affect me badly (i suppose thats a good thing to cut out anyway haha but still) . Whats going on Doc?
Hey! Sorry to hear about your weed-induced panic attacks. I can easily give myself severe anxiety with too much THC but at the same time I need the THC-heavy indica strains to sleep (severe insomnia from long-standing PTSD). AVB (already vaped bud) doesn't seem to cause anxiety in the same way, so sometimes I just self-medicate with that. But I've found the trick with weed is to vape it, not smoke it, and to use way way less than makes sense, like a really tiny quantity. Either I just put a tiny quantity in my vape, or i put in a normal quantity but only take a couple of shallow puffs then take a break for an hour or so.
That said, a lot of panic attacks are by subconscious association, so if you had one bad trip with weed, the panic attacks could well be just your amygdala screaming DANGER DANGER at your adrenal glands every time you smoke. If you need to talk about it feel free to message me btw

Hemp hash has the best Cbd buds! Just mix it 1:1 with thc weed , or 1:2, 1:3 etc. That should take care of the anxiety;)
if you could get diazepam i used both to cure very bad case of PTSD to fix. every time i smoked and got panic i i let it get bad then pop a pill to shut the fuck up to this panic it works really does. did this for just a few weeks and wala i can now smoke 247 no panic then just weened myself off the diazepam 5 years gone and still PTSD free

Definitely try vaping. Its a lot more mellow and a nice way to ease yourself in. MJ Concentrates have some great carts (he is sold out atm but will restock soon) and he is really helpful and has great customer service and no question is too stupid to ask him.
Just to add as I don't see it otherwise mentioned, but the maturity of the trichomes plays a large part in this. Smoking earlier cuts of cloudy trichs will give a rushier hit than ambers if cut a little later, and I've found it's immature or earlier cut weed that tends to give me the effects to speak of. If you know any growers, ask that they cut you some when it's mostly amber trichs and see how you do. It is degrading at the point but you can't get it all just right.
I used to suffer with this and for me I realised the sativa doesn't agree with me, has to always be indicia, or a 70/30 hybrid, I'd suggest having a smoke but you need to break yourself in real slow, just like have a few puff's, then a few hours later a few more and so on, try indica leaning strains, though it could just be your body going nah
Sorry to hear this. Everyones different but it can come down to strains. Try find Hybrids or Indicas particularly ones that are low THC and High in CBD. Thisbalance is key to a balanced high. also really make sure the plants are flushed correctly and/ or organic. Less chemicals the better which can trigger a lot of this.

Not really bud, Durban Poison i Had stocked there was 17% THC, 1% CBD, 1% CBN. There definitely are strains that have like 3% CBD these days. Sorry I couldnt be of more use!
Would love to try something like Stephen hawking kush . Indica dominant 12% THC 13% CBD . Sounds perfect for me but I don't know if I'll find weed like that in the UK . Hopefully I'll get lucky
Sorry to hear that buddy. That happens with my mum. I baked her some brownies a few times and even with strains that knock me out, have the opposite effect on her. She ends up getting a speed-like high. She has chronic arthritis but it may be the type of meds she is on not meshing well. Some venders put detailed descriptions on here of their strains. You will find one that works for you eventually. I hope it all comes right for you because it’s shit when you can’t do what you love. Stay safe.
I had a similar episode after 20 yrs of smoking daily, mind you it happened after a weekend of more booze than you can imagine. Tried a few times after but had the same response, so I gave up for about 8 years ( boy did I miss it!!) then went to Amsterdam, I took it slower than I would have in the old days and always kept my mind working and it worked . TBH my life now won’t allow to go back to how I used to smoke but pleased I can still enjoy one again. I guess it really comes down to mental conditioning and not associating weed and the panic attack, well that’s what helped me .
1:1 THC/CBD strains are amazing. Stick to some nice indicas or hybrids and you'll find the CBD takes the anxiety away and replaces it with a deep relaxation.
maybe because you stopped using for a long time so your body isn't used to having weed. or you might have went straight to sativa strains when you started again. i had the same experience not long ago, i thought i added a low amount of cannabutter in my brownies and i ate two, 5 hours later i feel like my heart will explode and i was scared i might die. lol. yeah stick to the indica ones, try to taper your dose-- start small and see which amount gives you the results you want. CBDHempKing has some cbd flowers and CBDave has some cbd products like distillates and chocolates.

Currently black jack reserve or fruity pebbles from drugsinc these are pretty laid back not heart pumpers. Look out for the ice cream cake that was nice.

I used to get sudden panic attacks about 10 years ago into my now 20-25 year habit.
I got rid of them pretty much within a month by using deep breathing techniques. I have a friend who makes RSO which can hit you with panics like a truck if you take too much and the breathing techniques completely stop those too.
I know it sounds cliche but I really recommend the box breathing technique whenever you feel bad: 4 seconds breathe in, 4 seconds hold, 4 seconds breathe out. Do that for 2+ minutes and you will feel better.
That said, this is my personal experience and can't guarantee it works for anyone else but I haven't had a panic attack properly since that first month many years ago. Allowed me to continue using the plant that I love.

I quit for a year and then eased back in with low strength hash.
High THC Low CBD strains will still make me uncomfortable if I smoke too much too soon,so I stick to mellow stuff these days.
CBD will absolutely settle heart palps and anxiety. Smoke/ vape a fair whack before smoking anything with THC and you’ll be fine. CBD flower shake is pretty cheap, I always have some on standby but I haven’t been unsettled in a long while.

Hi, ive smoked heavily for 25 years now and I find my anxiety is at its worst when i cant source any weed, whether thats an addiction styled placebo im not sure, but I have heard of people mixing quantities of cbd flower in with their thc flower at various ratios and reporting much lower psychosis/anxiety levels. Maybe try a bowl or vape of 70/30 thc/cbd and see if it helps any.

Also, when a plant is chopped also has an effect on the buzz. So even an indica can be racy if its chopped a bit early. Sativas are often chopped a bit early because...
1) They can take another 50% longer to flower than an indica
2) It amplifies the racy high and can be more trippy.
Loads to keep you happy, but id just look for a 90%+ indica dominant, which is usually displayed in vendors sales pitches.

feel purer and no tobacco means not having to roll joints to feed nicotine slumps.

could be worse, you could develop cannabis hypermedia syndrome like me and nearly die of complications of dehydration. imagine the worst pan imaginably, its 10 times worse, fentanyl does nothing, they had to put me under to stop it.

I used cannabis daily for years & got critically ill with Covid back in Jan 21. 3 months on life support, 4 months total in hospital. Have been discharged 9 months now & only been taken off my daily blood thinners last week. (I had blood clots in both lungs) - now I can explore the world of edibles as my lungs are f****d from my brush with Covid.....any suggestions welcome. Thank you.

On the other other hand, "long covid" reset my tolerance levels to newborn infant, so I was only taking a tiny bit of AVB every night to help me sleep. If you get covid maybe experiment with microdosing edibles as opposed to lighting up a fat blunt?
I take cannabis oil whenever I start feeling a cold or flu and I swear it works over 90% of the time.
I had it in feb before it was thought to be here, only thing that let me breathe was a combo of weed and the blue athsma inhaler. I distinctly remember saying that the only reason I wasn't in hospital with whatever flu I had was I was smoking heavily.

Hi, I'd smoked joints with tobacco for foury years plus, then got myself a Dynavap, not looked back since and touched bacci for five months now. Great innovation, would definitely recommend.
I decided the same thing a few weeks ago. I got the dynavap and yeah you still use a lighter with it and can get a nice hit from it so pretty close to the smoking experience. But I still want them dirty baccy joints, I haven't managed to quit just yet. Vape normal e juice whilst at work during the day and a mixture of the dynavap and joints in the evening. Good luck with the quitting.

I 2nd budboy1980 on the storz and bickel devices anything by them is a killer. On the more budget end the smono 3 (fury 2 clone) can be had for £65 and if your looking to quit smoking a dynavap complete kit can be had from about a ton online. That's the closest analogue to smoking I have found with my 2021m
S&B Mighty all day long, price stings a bit initially but you’ll see in no time it’s a worthy investment! I’m 8 years now off cigarettes and any kind of combustion. Life changing to be honest, the first 4 to 6 weeks is the hardest but you got this man :)

I’ve got a few sub £70 options including an old Airistech and a new Dynavap M. Wish I could love my Dynavap like other biggaz do, I just never get a consistent hit. I go from fek all to scorched lungs and back and think “why don’t I just let the tech do the work?” (I would say on the odd occasion I get it right it is great so I understand the fuss!)

I found moving to a single flame torch and heating at the base of the cap gave me consistent decent big hits.
Thanks DR, I do both those things, I’m just too crack-handed with the “feathering” or whatever it’s called. I used a tip to put sellotape over it and punch a little hole and experiment with sizes....helped a bit. Still seems like work! ;)
Ahhh fair enough :) I went through a fair few electronic vapes because I didn't want to have the hassle of butane and while they still have their uses I pretty much use my dynas and elev8r exclusively nowdays. The elev8r is interesting it allows you to extract anywhere from 0.05g to 0.5g in just a couple of hits, hits way heavier than the dynas.

I decided to sell a 50g block of 24k gold, made an awesome profit from when I bought in 2012, (bought a few in mind of another global meltdown or apocalypse haha) then reinvested a little back in bitcoin about £800 worth and that’s died now. It will come back around though, if only I held off for a week.

I’m looking for a reliable vendor.
My other half suffers from PTSD, anxiety and depression and I’m looking to find good weed to help her cope. After doing some research she thinks she would benefit from a hybrid/sativa for during the day, and an indica for the evening. Low THC (because she hasn't smoked in nearly 10 years) and if possible containing CBD and CBN. No skunk or hash. Perhaps Blue Dream and Berry White but I don’t know if you can find these in the UK.
Can anyone recommend a good vendor with knowledge on the above? We are in London (UK)

Hi bro. As someone who has personal experience of this. Don’t smoke weed all day and night it makes it worse after a few weeks.

Sativa in the day and indica at night is a straight vector to dependency. You will have zero energy without weed. Exercise and nutrition form a good core regimen for the conditions you described. Forgive me if you are already there.
When that doesn't work hit the sativa for an anti depression boost - start super small or the anxiety will take over. For natural anxiety hit the cbd with a little bit of indica. Have a powerful indica as your ace in the hole.

50% cbd and 50% thc mix should work for depression well.
In my experience weed and excercise combo works well for beating depression. I would sugest start with excercising every day. Only doing weed will work only when high, rest of the time will be the same or worse. You can get hooked on weed very quickly when you have depression and that can be expensive. Don t jump from one pithole to onother.
Magic mushrooms can help alot but that should be done by someone experienced in the field.
In essence, I would recomend research as much as possible about it and only then use substances.

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience, I really appreciate it. Which dry herb vape would you recommend? I’ve been looking into full convection ones and I’m leaning towards the Boundless Tera, seems pretty good, but I’d like to hear your thoughts.

Might be worth trying some CBD flower (high cbd and THC under 1%), can buy it legally online in a lot of countries. It's a bit odd because if you smoke or vape it you don't feel like you expect but you might notice that you are just relaxed and calm. You can also mix it with higher THC weed to get whatever balance of CBD/THC you want.
I'd also recommend speaking to a doctor and seeking therapy if your other half hasn't already, weed is good but it doesn't solve everything, I find that the benefits are often short term and it's not normally realistic to be stoned 24/7.

I use Hemphash (UK) and they are reliable and sell well priced cbd flowers. I haven't tried cbd vape juice, I buy flowers because I have a herbal vapouriser so it's easier to use, also because I can mix it up with THC bud.

Hi, as already mentioned CBD flower from hemphash in UK is very good. The super tooty fruity strain being my favourite. Being a chronic anxiety sufferer i can provide a little anecdotal experience and suggestions:
If your other half doesnt smoke i recommend either dry herb vaping or making edibles. I generally use home made cannabis oil to treat my anxiety by microdosing so taking a teaspoon which doesnt get me so noticebaly high but lasts a long time. I then vape a mix of CBD flower and some decent bud from here:) this has nothing to do with self medicating i do this as i enjoy the ritual of grinding flower, loading the vape and even better adapting it to a water pipe for even more smoothness.
I think buying some assorted bud shakes on here and infusing into olive oil after decarbing would be the most cost effective way but of course i am certainly no doctor. Best of luck:)

Wow, thank you so much, this is very insightful. What kind of dry herb vape do you use? I have been doing some research and it seems like a very good option, although a tad expensive. I’d be willing to spend on a good convection vape, but not sure on which to go for.

Convection vapes will be generally more pricey than conduction models. Also be sure something advertised as being convection isn't a hybrid as often the case. I personally use a CFC Tera which is 100% convection. I paid a little over 100 pounds which is good for full convection. My friend has a firefly 2.0 which is a great portable convection model but its 230 notes. I additionally have the CFC boundless 2.0 at 60 pounds (conduction) which i use with the pipe adaptor in my bong for smoother hits.
If you want a desktop convection vape the volcano is the holy grail in terms of quality but also in terms of price.

Agreed with greencigar below, don’t discount thc just yet, plays a very important role also, it’s down to dose and strain.... weed isn’t just weed anymore, you hit her with a heady sativa in a decent dose and she’ll likely be a wreck and put her off for good, research strains like Northern Lights, Grandaddy Purp, my current fave Slimer OG, all I find help hugely with my PTSD, anxiety and depression, it’s no cure but a band aid is enough sometimes.
Micro doses of THC can work wonders for depression. Also, a daily dose of whole plant extract CBD really brings things down to earth. It can be very difficult to manage, but strain research will always be beneficial. Getting the balance between calming and depression beating effects is not easy. Initially focus on lower doses of THC and combining this with exercise as someone else mentioned. I find that moderate doses of CBD and THC, combined with walks and time in nature bring the best results. I have also found that decarbed bud in capsules can offer a rather balanced and not too heavy effect throughout the day. The best of luck to you and yours. GC
Could check out MJ concentrates. They’ve got full spectrum cbd/thc tinctures that you drop under your tongue.
As someone suggested, MJ Concentrates do a thc / cbd oil which has been a game changer for me. Can get Indica, sativa or hybrid.
Hash is usually a better all round balanced blend of cannabinoids where the effects I find are more relaxing for ptsd, more of a tranquil chilled out mellow vibe

I’d second this, most Hash I’ve ever smoked and that’s a shit tonne deffo falls well more on the body couch lock side of things rather than the panic inducing heart pounding effect certain weed strains can cause.
Yeah, I guess it all depends on the indica/sativa ratio. We have smoked hash in the past and didn’t have good memories of it, but I guess with time quality might have improved also.

Does cannabis help with your mental health. Lets hear all about it here including experiences and any funny mental health stories just for a laugh. It certainly helps me to relax and fall asleep more easily at night. Stoners are often seen as people who sit around in a haze all day. Well it can be true but also many stoners are very busy and put in a full days work - let's hear all your stories both honest and again a flavour of amusing stories made up or real is fine.
Short answer: yes, it helps.
I have PTSD and over the years nothing has helped apart from weed. First year I tried downing a bottle of vodka every night just so I could pass out with no flashbacks. So basically fucked my physical health as well as mental health. Quit drinking for good. Then tried xanax on and off for a few years, which helped but only short-term - xanax only works for a few hours and then you either need another one or you suffer even worse MH than before taking it. Tried different forms of therapy, punchbag, anti depressants, meaningless sex, healthy eating, exercise, self-sabotage, CBD oil, music, martial arts, lavender oil, meditation... tried pretty much everything, basically. The punchbag helped actually. Anyway, only weed legitimately helped me sleep, and helped me relax before falling asleep. And over time, I must've formed new neuron pathways in my brain, because during the day I became way less symptomatic as well, much more relaxed and way less aggressive/ jumpy/ fight-or-flighty, even though I only smoke late at night after everyone's gone to bed.

It definitely did help me to get through some issues after i have been abducted and tortured by a secret service of a certain middle eastern country. i'll spare you the details.
thankfully after returning to europe in one piece i had access to cannabis. i smoked on daily basis, several times a day, for almost two years. it helped me to slowly approach all the trauma i sustained and handle my PTSD while maintaining daily routines with the family and children. i couldn't go to the psychotherapy at that time.
sorry the story is not as funny and for laughs, but i can 200% certify that it did help me with my head.

YES. Has helped me for 25+ years, mostly a mixture of long term insomnia which has led to anxiety and depression, when I have some smoke my life is easy, the only other thing that has bought me benefit has been magnesium which I assume I was deficient in, have a look at this if you have suffer insomnia, helped me loads. I am constantly busy and have always been employed the typical stoner image is part of the mans attempt to keep weed down, it is used by professionals at every level of society (no pun intended). Indica is crazy good at sorting my anxiety and saliva slams depression, ultimate medicine compared to big pharm.
For me personally, anxiety and aggression was always a problem for me when I was younger. I would get really anxious out of nowehere for no reason, even around people I knew since I was a child (still happens to this day). I had my forst smoke of hash at 14 and wasn't too interestes but the second that joint of weed hit my lips when I was 15, it was like everything clicked.
I quickly figured out when I was stoned I didn't worry as much and didn't get paranoid or anxious around people. I didn't have so much energy and it really toned down my aggression. I was never aggressive toward people for no reason, I just couldnt process my emotions and it often led to me kicking a heavy bag on my own.
Joining martial arts and discovering marijuana literally changed my life. I understand that the stereotypical lazy "stoner" does exist but it definitely doesn't apply to all smokers. Clinical depression. Don't want to turn this into a sob story but I've dealt with "not wanting to be here" all my life since I was a child. I wake up crying a lot and want it all to end. My thoughts and regrets overwhelm me a lot and I struggle to get myself through the day. With weed i can function daily, hold down a job and wake up in the morning with a plan for the day and not a plan to end it. Sativa is my friend. I hate the ignorant stereotype of the "lazy stoner" and "monging out" that we're all painted with. Sure, it's nice to chill in the evening with a nice indica too, but the motivation I get from sativa strains ENABLES me, not the opposite.
Stoners simply dont do anything thats not worth doing...which is subjective?

Weed can be sterilised, the weed gets exposed to gamma ray radiation which kills off all living entities on the product.
The frequency and intensity of a gamma ray is soo powerful it kills/ sterilise anything in its path.
The Dutch medical company Bedrocan which supplies medical marijuana via medical prescriptions sterilises their product by exposing it to gamma rays thus dealing with any nasties.
The closest thing that we the average joe can do to get anywhere near the effects of gamma rays, is to zap it in the microwave! However, microwaves although still very strong aren’t as powerful as a gamma ray and to be honest who the hell is going to microwave their weed stash!
I can’t see that as a viable thing to do as it would probably kill off covid 19 baddies but also fuck your bud up big time!!!

I'm not sure you can sterilise weed... I know that you can dip a whole plant / bud into water which gets rid of some natural chemicals maybe faster then usal curing does... but you would be a big wanker to do that to a beutiful plant...
Like me, I hope others too, don't touch or rub plants when growing unless handling,
at that, grow room should always be clean and regular cleaning is required.

Thanks for the reply! Have been trying to find out how long viruses stay on plant surfaces but have had no luck haha. I guess when it’s smoked it will burn off anyway hopefully!
Don’t quote me cause I was half asleep but I’m near sure it was 40 degrees Celsius so hot water is said to aid in killing the virus

Bud itself should be fine because whichever way you consume it (vaping, smoking, edibles) it has to be heated to at least 220 degrees Fahrenheit, which is over 100 degrees Celsius (boiling temperature). If you want to be super cautious about it (because you suspect the vendor has sneezed all over the bud just before sending it to you), you could wash your hands after handling your bud, before actually rolling/ smoking/ vaping etc.

I have a dry herb vape (nectar v2) which has been working fine until now :( the device turns on fine and shows a correct battery level. The device is charged and now the issue is it will not heat up at all.
Any of you guys have any suggestions? Or possiblly even a spare dry herb vape?
I know im pushing some boundaries but this is very bad !

Hey - have you tried taking in apart and cleaning it with isopropyl? I have a Pax2 and it needs regular cleaning or it gunks up and then it doesn’t seem to heat/vape properly. My money is always on the magic flight box - it’s super stealth and you only heat the flower when you use it (there is no warm up or cool down it’s instant) it can take a bit of practice to get it right but I’ve had mine for 6 years now and it’s still my favourite dry herb vape
