best family game for xbox?
best family game for xbox?
no shooting, minimal violence, yall know the drill.
thanks
thanks
Plantz vs zombies is pretty cool shooting but funny guns no blood or stuff but still plants killing zombies so violence 😆Or voodoo vince not sure still available 🤔
Unravel and Unravel 2 are really good puzzle platformers and the second you can play two player on one console. Ori games as well. All on gamepass if you have it
I LOVED viva pinata!! It was on 360 but think it’s backward compatible for current generation.
I'm not to sure if it's still in the store or how old the people are whose going to play but I used to love to play Doritos Crash Course with the fam. It's basic but we had fun!
Rocket league it's free. Online. make a family team and go beat some kids at car soccer.
Also tetris connected maybe . both have lil violence.

got a bit of toon violence and guns but Sea of thieves is a good one to play with family 🤜
I have been getting it for £1 a month for about a year. I was going to suggest some PC titles. Real gaming machines... You know?

Game With Best Music?
I fucking second that all day, I played all of it stoned to the gills and it was phenomenal
been replaying it with a VR mod myself, hard to progress when you're just staring at everything around you in awe
hahah, sesh at my place then!
Ended up standing at the docks in lumiere for like an hour, seeing all the boats rocking in the water so close up, standing by a lamp post by crates of fish by the shore and reading posters on the wall, looking out across the ocean to see the monolith in the fog, swear i could smell the sea... totally different experience, everything you would have just run past or not even noticed you get to see so intimately, it's some unreal shit. No pun intended.

found out they're doing an orchestra tour in London and managed to snag tickets, absolutely buzzing, nothing else is gonna compare after that

Try something called Universal Paperclips, it's a game about making paperclips and intergalactic domination. It's a really unique clicker type game.

Best Iphone Game?
If you have an iphone later than 11, you can download ported games like resident evil remakes (2 to 4).
I also decided to go through all the old classic GTAs on mine and they work perfectly as ported games.
Currently got a modded pkig vita and going through old classics from psp times.
AHH the good old days :)

Xbox app + gamepass 😉🥳
Loads of games have touch controls made for phones, not all great.
Or can use onscreen controller, works but tough on phones.
Link controller to phone and mini console for you

A back-bone controller for iPhone gaming on games like call of duty is like having a PlayStation on your iPhone almost. Can pick them up around £10-15 second hand on Vinted. Recommended for a little bit of fun.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Trash. £70 not at all well spent.
Sorry if that's not what you want to hear but performance is terribly distracting, the bugs are out of control and all in glorious 12 frames per second.
Combat is the best thing in the game but you'll spend all your time getting lost, back tracking and awkwardly running across walls picking up useless cosmetics and talking to random assholes in the middle of nowhere.
I'm on Xbox Series X but PC is worse I think. The PS5 version is the "best" but that's not saying much.
I'd wait for more patches AND a price drop.

haha not what i wanted to hear but i much prefer the truth. Will wait for a price drop and patches like you said, thank you very much. Real shame was looking for a new game to sink my teeth into as I've exhausted Elden Ring and Hogwarts now
I reckon you maybe surprised at Jedi I would still get it if I were you. It’s jaw dropping at some points and there isn’t really much in the way of triple A alternatives. Performance is about on par with everything else and has improved with patches.
Technically and graphically impressive with very detailed sense environments. Next gen albeit at upscaled 4k from 720-1080p

Love respawn for titanfall but the Jedi games were such a drag for me, at least survivor is on game pass now but still holding out on that Kotor remake 🤞

Any good game suggestions? Help a brother out
Any good game suggestions? Help a brother out
Hi, I've been fairly bored recently with the games I've been playing, I've got an xbox and a PC. I normally play more AAA games Like COD and GTA, but they just aren't as fun as they used to be for me, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for games they like. They don't have to be AAA thats just what I normally play but I'm up for a change. Thanks in advance
Brilliant game, prepare for a long download too if you haven’t already... graphics are beautiful but the player control system is slightly annoying, it feels very heavy. Never the less i love the way you can ‘greet’ and ‘antagonise’ npc’s🤣...
Try ‘greet’, ‘greet’, ‘antagonise’, I’ve had many of laughs from it.

I've heard a lot of good things about the ghost of Tsushima, will give it a look. cheers mate
Best game of PS4 generation, and it’s just got a PS5 update for all the lucky fuckers that have one
If you want a break from the norm I would recommend trying a few indie titles, I loved the little nightmares games, hotline Miami 1 & 2,
res evil 2 remake is good too. If you got a good pc, cyberpunk maybe.
Indie is where I think you find more interesting games these days, but there is also a lot more junk to go through to find the gems.
I have also been playing older indie titles again like limbo and inside, shadow complex and mark of the ninja, all great games in my opinion

Just finished Subnautica. Really nice just looking around after a smoke. More relaxing than FPS. The Outer Wilds is another similar open world. Fantastic looking.
Totally agree, awesome game, so atmospheric.
On the open world side I'd add Rust. It's impossible not to enjoy Rust, even if you never manage to get further than hitting people with a rock while giggling maniacally

I gave up on normal servers a few years ago, I've been playing a RP/PVP server for all this time and I thoroughly enjoy it.
Peoples RP can change each wipe or stay the same if they like what they are doing.
We've done events in the past: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IZogY8Ravo&feature=youtu.be
We do loads of stuff and it changes every month. There are wars and stuff but there are some rules that go with it.
Anyhows if you wanna check it out client.connect 54.39.130.212:28015

I've seen some gameplay of subnautica on YT it does look good, I'm definitely going to give it a try after a smoke thats sounds like a banging plan
If you have a PC it might be worth it looking into VR and buying a headset. Half-life Alyx is really good and will hopefully set the new standard for AAA VR games if they do end up really taking off.
Currently my PC isn't great but i'm looking at getting an upgrade. Have you got a VR headset, I would love to hear how good they are from an actual user. cheers
If you want to check out something completely different mount and blade is a great game, you can get vanilla on xbox, or all sorts of mods on PC.
Or if you don't mind going really old with a game, X-com: terror from the deep. The gameplay in the older X-com games really puts the newer ones to shame. Terror from the deep in unfairly difficult, but it has a good atmosphere and you should get plenty of play time out of it.

Have a look at Scum. It's a beautiful and the real survival game. Great graphics, great little details, you've to know some basic knowledge to really survive ahah

Oxygen not Incuded, Factorio if you are up for dabbling in engineery stuff
Doom 2016, no, really, try it, way better that the new one.
Anything from Zachatronic for casual puzzles.
Portal 2 - everyone should play Portal 2 I know it's old, but...

No haven't heard of this before, if its like gta I'm sure I will like it though, cheers mate
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - I had so much fun with this game. Not one I would usually play either but I genuinely couldn't leave it alone for a good while
I’m of the same opinion of you, not my style of game butttt! God damn it’s one if the best games I’ve ever played especially stoned, the music, the lore, the gameplay, all completely mesmerising, not sure if anyone has already suggested these games but the dark pictures franchise games are really good as each game is like a horror game where you control the players and every action has a different consequence, some of the games are better than others but it’s a new story and cast with each one with 1 normally recognisable actor.
If you want a real challenge of an adventure game with amazing graphics and gameplay check out Sekiro. One of my favourites and slept on. Similarly ghosts of Tsushima is pretty good too. Sleeping dogs is also pretty good (few years old), was meant to apart of the True Crime series and is based in Chinatown LA I think. I’m more of a FPS kind of guy like Warzone but those games were something else 👌
Super smash Bros melee
Look up slippi and faster melee, you can play it online lagless now and takes 2 mins to find a game. Challenging though! People have been playing for over a decade lol

Sports: UFC 4 – It’s tough to get for a newbie, but once you get the hang of it, it’s very addicting. There’s nothing like MMA.
Racing: Forza Horizon 5 – Amazing graphics, realistic driving, sounds/feels real.
Shooter: Insurgency: Sandstorm – The most realistic shooter on console, it’s unrivaled.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege – The games’ been out since like 2015(?) but it still holds up, it’s comparable to search & destroy on CoD, but with the element of Battlefield. It’s easy, doesn’t require an absurd amount of skill, barring you’re facing sweats, it’s still a top 3 shooter IMO.
Misc: Chivalry 2 – It’s literally gorey, medieval first person sword combat. It’s a sick ass game.

Yeah you need to take a break from those triple aaa games like that, they all bleed into 1, like COD, let’s face it, it’s been the same game for years now. Try some refreshing indie games, play little nightmares 1 & 2, it’s great. The hotline Miami games are fun too. There are others, can’t think of them now, but will update if my stoney brain remembers…
Haha I seem to have replied twice to the same thing here, must have been smoking some good stuff at the time….
2 words. Hitman Trilogy. If you like roleplay with tasteful incorporated violence then youll be well away. Its AAA, but is single player only. Sandbox levels so intricately made it has unlimited playback potential. The vr on ps4 isnt great but i bet pc would be immense, although i haven't tried.
Borderlands 3 mate. Or Spider-Man miles morales if you like superhero games. I play cod all the time and like those two when wanting something different.
Try a game called Running with Rifles. Top.down shooter. Really good. Easy to pick up. Hard to put down.
My brother really likes that game but I don't know much about it, whats it like if you don't mind me asking, cheers mate
It's a cross between a survival game, RPG, Minecraft, Ark... It's hard to explain. But you basically have to level up a Viking character, build everything, craft weapons, etc. However it's all woven into a HUGE procedurally generated map (different in every game). It's SUPER chilled, but also great fun, creative, and rewarding. Check out 'Valheim worth a buy" on Youtube.. but don't watch any other videos as you'll ruin it for yourself. You'll get lost in this game... as will your free time.
Those 20,000 games in 1 consoles on amazon, just plug and play into tv, options of PS or Xbox style controllers, games consist every console game in history, even commodore and spectrum days 😆 👍
God of War 2018- Ragnarok, both phenomenal, the lore is really cool, the combat is so satisfying when you get the full hang of it, plus you truly feel like a god of war but as much as a fan of the the original god of war series I’d be lying if I didn’t say I prefer the newer rpg style god of wars,
the Witcher 3 is a game that to this day shits on most modern games, it’s got a amazing story, great gameplay mechanics but what really sets it apart is all of the different things you hunt and fight, there’s pretty much every mythical creature you can think of in the game and each one has a specific weakness which you can craft certain things to make killing them easier or potions that give your character certain buffs, it’s a game you’ll get extremely addicted to and playing for 40+ hours easily, one of the few games I can genuinely say the world feels alive even when your not playing.
Cyberpunk, pretty decent game and is free on game pass, the game had a lot of potential and was definitely rushed, that being said though it’s still extremely fun and satisfying to play, the stuff you can do by giving your character cyber enhancements, also you can can decide how you want things to go mission and story wise the same as the Witcher which makes sense considering they are made by the same studio.
A huge classic is l.a noire, it’s 1947ish (I believe) you play as officer Cole Phelps and you start off as a street officer then work your way up into different police departments it’s your job to go and solve crimes that have been committed by searching for evidence investigating witnesses and interrogating suspects all while getting in the occasional shootout with criminals every now and then, it’s made by the same company as gta so it’s got a sold studio behind it.
Metal gear vengeance, I’ve never played the other metal gears but forget them right now, this game will put hairs on your chest with the pure dosages of testosterone you get playing this, the fighting is just chefs kiss, each boss has a badass song to go with it to give you that full nuts to butts experience, your basically a ninja in a metal armour suit that goes around destroying everything, the end boss fight was so good it made my dad come back from the shop after 15 years with the milk just to watch me beat it

I've been playing Greyzone Warfare recently, been really enjoying that! Haven't been doing much of the questing tbh xD just roaming around looting and hoarding, but still been enjoying it all the same!
I fell in love with sim racing. Assetto Corsa, BeamNG, iRacing. You can start with cheaper Moza R3 direct drive wheel with pedals and H-shifter and enjoy it from the first moment, if you like cars. Its basically like when you drive, but here are thousands of cars and modifications. If you need to know more, write me and i will send you where are free mods :)
Oldie but goodie Halo Wars or any real time strategy games, you have time whilst you build your army to roll up and smoke😂

Anyone want to help save the UK from Belgium?
I'm playing a free browser-based geopolitical strategy game called Warera right now, the UK is massively underpowered we have under 100 active players, while countries like Germany have over 1500. Because of this, Belgium has completely wiped us off the map! We need reinforcements to push them back across the Channel. You can be a soldier, a politician, or an entrepreneur to help rebuild our economy. The community banter is hilarious. Our Prime Minister right now is a guy called HippieLovesTrees lol. The UK resistance is currently surviving on pure spite and memes to mock the Belgian occupation and to negotiate international diplomacy. If you enjoy high-level shitposting while coordinating a national uprising (or defending your own borders), you will fit right in. It’s completely free to play, and there are absolutely zero pay-to-win mechanics. If you use my referral link, we both get some free starting coins to help fund our respective war efforts: https://app.warera.io/?referrerId=6a0f9fd97c9e49079377f49f

Looking for a good game
Looking for a good game
Looking for a good single player game playable on MacBook or similar. What you lot playing? I like single player shooters mostly
SuperHot is a novel take on FPS I enjoyed on Mac. Really good after a smoke. It's a unique flavour, time only moves as you the player take actions. So you can do some proper mad slow motion spinning around headshot type nonsense.
If you've not played it you'll pick up "Spec Ops The Line" for dirt cheap these days and its one of the best shooter-story games ever made...
been replaying GTA 4 recently (and the DLC's), and GTA 5 - appstorrent.ru is a great resource for getting apps and games on Mac for free man
I’m gonna have to have a look at this brother!
Thanks for the help brother

circling back once again - gaiming on mac - other recomendations would be PCSX2 - PS2 Emulator, and RPCS3 for PS3, shadPS4 - not quite there for PS4 yet but its getting better.
And also xbox cloud (grab a cheap account on g2g/z2u ) - decent games with gamepass and as long as wifi is decent your good
There is also stuff like WINE/CrossOver you can use to get windows games set up but its either complicated to set up / CrossOver costs money

Radiant Silvergun would be my all time recommendation for single player shmups. One of Treasure's finest treasures. It's available on Steam, and *ahem* Saturn emulation. No idea how to recommend things in Apple's locked down architecture though, sorry, but hopefully it's not difficult for you to revel in this masterpiece soon.
If you like old school boomer shooters it's a good fun games difficult but great fun. Worth a shout, think it plays on Mac :)
Just been trying it this afternoon. Go on a site like G2A for game keys etc... and find the best deal for a months XBOX GAME PASS ULTIMATE (needs to be ultimate for cloud gaing to work) I found one for around £5 - log into the account they send you - and then you can play a whole heap of XBOX 360, to present day XBOX games in browser through cloud gaming - works on Mac. Pretty sweet, just been playing some fifa and skate 3.
Can use a variety of controllers as well, I use cheap one i got for my iphone via bluetooth

not 100% sure how it all works on the playstation side of things.
Only playstation stuff I know is Playstation 2 - still boot that up every now and then.

The new 007 First Light game that came out this week is AMAZING. Highly recommend. Unsure if its supported on Mac though
I saw recommended here G2A. Please avoid! Its a site full of scammers. Im a bit of industry person, use Eneba, Kingpin, Loaded or Cdkeys. Also because of refunds - used keys, stolen accounts etc... Keep in mind all digi keys on these sites are literally paid by stolen credit cards, so...
To the games, ARC Raiders is pretty good.
If you like cars, Assetto Corsa (Classic with CSP and Pure graphic, Rally, Evo, Competizione) or classic BeamNG.. It is a deep down hole if you will like it because as soon as you will start to realize how realistic is, you will probably buy sim rig, direct drive wheel base, gaming monitor or triple monitors... Like weed, you starting on 500 budget, then easily go 5000 and above 😃

Not quite the classic shooter but Project Zomboid is great! Or Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead!! Or Schedule I ;)
Can't lie, not strictly console but I have been playing call of duty mobile since it started. Started doing ranked matches recently honestly I've been absolutely smoking guys like cali packs 👀🔥

Your Favourite Indy Game?
Gotta be Stardew Valley, put toooooo many hours into that game... Superhot is another banger
I literally just clicked this topic to type in dead cells. Good to see someone beat me to it! I got to meet one of the developers and play the game before release at EGX a few years ago and kept it on my radar. If you like similar side scrollers I recommend Axiom Verge, The Messenger, and Carion. They’re not rougue like games but each unique and fun in their own way.
Awesome! I tried it on a whim back in January on Xbox Gamepass and just cant stop playing it! Ive heard of a couple of those other games but not played them, i will make sure i check them out! Thanks for the tip!
Same, thousands of hours and I can finally scrape through hard mode.
Have you played the multiverse mod?
Have you played the multiverse mod?
Celest, hotline miami, alto, Arid (made by university students but i put it there, is from Breda and is totally free on pc)
I've been really into Streets of Rogue as of recent. Vampire Survivors, Overgrowth and Risk of Rain are some of my all time faves in the genre
Dusk has to be up there with one of the greatest indie titles. The dev has just released Butchers Creek too, a bit like Condemned.
Short for Independent, a game created by a small studio, usually solo or with a small team :) Some can be pretty creative because they don't have the limitations of big studios and companies.

Best Split Screen on Xbox?
If anyone hasn't tried dysmantled I highly recommend it. Exploratory/resource based game that's open world and you're supposed to figure out the story.
The whole thing is playable single player and split screen

Best Star Wars Game of All Time?
A man of culture I see. SWG had so many features and systems that I wish other MMOs would learn from. Crafting and player cities were something else in that game, being able to walk around a ship while in space etc. took it for granted back in the day now we have shit storms like star citizen
Used to absolutely love the original Empire Strikes Back sit down cabinet.
It used to save the high scores and fir a short period in my local muzzy the top 10 was all my initials :) great days

Star Wars: Dark Forces was superb. Like Doom, but Star Wars. Apparently now available on PS5.
Spent hours playing KOTOR on the original xbox. Been tempted to get Jedi:fallen order on my son's xbox as I keep getting offers sent to me but I hardly game anymore. Probably need to get back into it.
I was quite a fan of Battlefront 1 and 2 on the PS2 and Star Wars Bounty Hunter, I remember my dad playing it a lot when I was younger, loved that game.

best ipad game?
Any particular genre you’re after mate?
Helps narrow it down a bit 🤜
Also, if you’ve got game pass you can DL the app to stream Xbox games. Many of which get touch control support (how good that is varies on the dev and game type tbh)

Always depends what you like mate?
We talking touch phone games, or touch enabled Xbox game pass? That works pretty well on many games tbh
Play forza on a phone.
You got the vamp survivors which is easy to control while smoking 😂

Best game for Quest 3?
I can recommend Miracle Pool, by far the best pool game for physics etc, for the price you really cant argue, let me know what you think.
Population One if you like battle royales also Superhot is pretty fun, its on sale atm
haven't found anything new and great but the old games run a lot faster and that's appreciated when you are just standing there with the headset on waiting.
don't know if you can get it on oculus but if you can, no man's sky is amazing in vr, cruising thru space and looking out your ships window and setting the stars fly by, landing on planets to go explore them, shitting your pants as shai hulud flies over your head, 10/10 experience

Ghost hunting, pornography and interactive art: the weird afterlife of Xbox Kinect
i loved these things and wondered what happened
"It has watched over the Korean demilitarised zone and worked on topography and patient alignment in CT scanners; reports have emerged of it being used in airport baggage halls, as a security camera in Newark Liberty International airport’s Terminal C (United Airlines declined to comment on this), and even to gamify training for the US military. It’s been attached to drones, rescue robots and even found a brief application in pornography."
These things would work like a dream for art installations or experimental film and they're stuck being labour/commodities.

I’ve just started out on I and just getting my head around things
i've played it since 2005. Not all the time, but I always end up going back to the ol' runescape crack pipe. Only the old school version, I aint playing that EOC shit.
Makes me laugh people still think it’s “eoc shit”, it’s improved massively but changed from the claw approach of osrs and just pray flicking 😂
Each to their own though, osrs is a bastardised multiverse variant now and has jacked loads of content from rs3 😝

Ok guessing quite low then, I’d personally advise start training necromancy.
You’ll get weapons as part of the levelling up which mixes combat and afk skilling.
I’ll chuck you a few mill coins to help out so make sure you DM me your rs username 😎

Time for A Deeper Game, Any Suggestions?
Time for A Deeper Game, Any Suggestions?
It's been awhile since I've had time for anything but casual games, anybody wanna suggest something I'm parti al to cool sci fi worlds.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend playing the Mass Effect trilogy. I know it's a bit old now but it still holds up and is pretty deep, especially the first game. And I'd agree with sidetracked and say Outer worlds is probably the best recent Sci FI rpg.
Haven’t ever tried Outer worlds but seen a little YouTube video of it. Looks an awesome game. Fallout 4 is quite a good game to loose some hours to, though it isn’t quite sci fi it has element of it through out.
Mass effect best enjoyed on PC as it doesnt work well with controller! Do it! P99 Everquest is deep enough to lose a lifetime too. Football Manager series too if you like that sort of thing. Diablo 2 ressurected ok i suppose, not sure id call it deep. Someone has a thread on WoW classic, so thats gonna be deep enough.
I'd recommend Prey if you haven't played this one already?
It's a super atmospheric, story rich, open world set aboard a space station. Some really cool stealth and crafting elements in there. Killer sound track to boot!

I really enjoyed Outer Worlds recently. It's a sci-fi action RPG with a really cool world to explore. It can get fairly challenging on the highest difficulty.
i think it was on steam just bought all the bio shock games 1+2 the remastered 1+2 and infinite less than £20
If you want a deeper story and plenty of hours play I would recommend Assassins Creed (I've just completed Origins which was good fun), and Red Dead 2 (No spoiler but there is a "Virus" story arc which kinda fits in with the times).
If youve got an XBOX id give the Game Pass a go - Theres always offers available for new customers who havent subscribed to it yet.

have played ever one of the assassins creed games am ruining both origins and odyssey atm on my laptop
The Fallout franchise is hard to beat. Fallout 3, fallout New Vegas, fallout 4 , fallout 76. Bethesda creates the richest and most immersive worlds imo.
Currently playing new vegas at the moment played them for years only one I wasn't a fan off was 76 the story behind is really interesting
Civ 6, its even on Switch. Apart from that, I second Outer World's, Fallout, Elder Scrolls etc. If your a fan of old skool jrpgs like early Final Fantasy then I highly recommend the latest Dragon Quest.
I'd recommend journey to the savage planet, its light and funny but also an rpg/explorer, with mysteries and strange creatures about the place. It reminds of portal alot even though its not very similar, think i get the same kind of enjoyment from it.
Call of Cthulhu is a fun, dark game. It’s linear so you won’t log a million hours into it. Just twisted goodness!
If you are into JRPGs, please give Xenosaga 1-3 a try. The Gameplay gets better over time , the music and story are really something else. Still one if my favourite PlayStation 2 Series. I had a crush on KOS-MOS fir the longest time. After i finished the series i was in bitter-sweet gaming heaven.
Outer Worlds springs to mind - intelligent writing and great Sci fi world.
You want a deep sci fi game with action? If you have a PS4 and haven't already played Horizon Zero dawn, then just play that. Definitely one of the best of this gen.

outer world was a let down it just did not grab me at all and i love games like that (am still playing skyrim and fallout 4 atm)
if it's a deep story you want I'd recommend Life is Strange 1 & 2. Some might say it's boring but it's great if you're stoned cause your brain can't process to much shit going on but u can control the outcomes by making decisions. Another one would be steins;gate with is time travel done right but this would come under visual novel category.
If you have want to make your own Story I can recommend Starsector or Rinworld. Both are really great „Sandbox“ Games.
thanks to all my biggaz on this you are really good recommenders, ive tries almost everything and its hard to narrow down :)
If you play borderlands 3 on PS4 let me know if you need weapons, artefacts or class mods let me know. I’ve played all four characters the full story and all dlc so far so let me know when you get to level 60 and I will send you stuff if needed.
Eve never played seen someone play it though very in-depth, mass game, i’d have a look if i was in to sci fi
Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Mass Effect Andromeda, Stellaris, Endless Space 1&2, Star Wars The Old Republic (MMO), Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 1&2, Star Wars Rebellion, Surviving Mars, every Fallout (including the old, old ones), Dawn of War 2&3, Warhammer Gladius, Warhammer Deathwing, all the Half Life's and all the XCOM series! Phew, hope this helps 👍
If you're into sci-fi worlds I cannot recommend 'Outer Wilds' highly enough. One of the most creative, exciting and engaging games I've ever played. Just you, a space-ship and a mini universe to unravel.
Not to be confused with 'Outer Worlds'. Which is a fine game in itself, just a bit generic.

I'm currently with no pc... But can't wait to revive my ps1 and ps2 memories on the renovated Mafia.

best sci-fi world on xbox?
i love cities of the future, spacecraft, you name it. whats out there?
No Man's Sky is actually pretty fun despite the failed launch. No cities but infinite planets to explore and creatures to look at. Great to play while blazed.
Elite dangerous is also not to bad. Starfield next yeah looks amazing so keep your eye out for that
It had bad reviews and issues when it first released. But Night City in Cyberpunk is a beautiful Sci-Fi city with lots of things to explore
I cam here to say this. Specifically, the first one - in terms world building and lore, it is an A-class game.
Watch Dogs Legion has a very cool London if you dont't mind your future on the dystopic side.
I just started playing the Dead Space remake.. It's doesn't have much world exploring going on (it's all based in an abandoned space station) but the zero gravity moments, and exploring the spooky ship is giving me original 'Alien' movie vibes. So good!
Mass Effect Legendary edition is possibly one of the best Sci Fi expanses in gaming history. Also one of the few games that can actually pull at your heart strings and gives choices that you feel the outcome depending on which way you went.
2nd best Sci Fi game by far on Xbox is Stellaris, steep learning curve but an insanely satisfying game.
On pc I've put over a thousand hours into Stellaris, customisation of your 'Race' has hundreds of possibilities.
Along with hundreds of Random events in each play through, making each go unique.
Finally give Xcom 2 and it's DLCs a go, awesome gameplay, very futuristic.
You can customise your Soldiers to look like anyone, friend of mine made himself then the rest of the squad the A-Team 😂

Warzone Pals Needed
What’s happening lovely Biggas? My normal Warzone crew are hardly on these days. Looking for some like minded individuals to play a few games, smoke a few zoots and maybe even accuse better players of cheating us. PlayStation 5 ideally, not hugely competitive, mainly banter. Are we allowed to share gamer tags on here? Don’t want to get banned.
I’m down for this all day every day I’m not sure about the name tag thing but surly isn’t a problem

Last game you bought on release?
I was just thinking I don't think I've bought a game on release since about Fifa 12 or something back when Tesco used to do deals on them lol... I've definitely never paid 60 odd quid like they cost today! BUT Final Fantasy 16 has me massively tempted and I don't know if I'm going to make it the weekend without buying it haha
Any bigga bought it? or did anyone go for Diablo 4? Street Fighter 6? there's been a few temptations this month! Do you think the prices are worth it? I've never been able to bring myself to pay full price but when you consider how many hours you get out of them it can still work out cheap overall as long as they're as good as they look that is...
anyone bought any recently? thoughts? :)

Yep I'm literally the same mate hadn't brought a game since probably FIFA 14 but recently brought Hogwarts. Mainly brought it for the mrs but gta say I'm enjoying it more than she is!
Yeah that's even better when you really get into something you weren't expecting to :) I've got Hogwarts on my list for when there's a good offer on, the ones that hook you in really do work out great value compared to price of most things these days!
Well one night later and I've bought FF16 lol :) £65 lot of dosh but after playing the demo (which has the full game prologue btw biggas, well worth a try) I couldn't resist :P
I was debating pulling the trigger on Diablo IV, and a friend told me he got it too, so I got it and we're having a great time playing together.
Also got the new Zelda game, thinking it was gonna make me pick up the switch again. Nope. Runs like hot garbage. I'm sure it's a great game, but I just can't bear the performance personally. Honestly I think I'll sell the console and the game while it's still worth something.
Other than these two, my last day 1 purchases were RE Village and Cyberpunk, both of which I loved.

Those sound suspiciously like the Stadia purchases I made to get the 'free' controller. Completely unrelated, if anyone's looking for a Stadia controller...?
Zelda has never interested me I don't know why, it's got really popular now but I'm not sure what else Nintendo even has to offer atm?
Bought Forza Horizon 5 and GTA trilogy definitive edition around same time both on release. Usually get Fifa on release day but goy 23 on CD keys about a fortnight after release. Pre ordered the new Forza recently. It cost £90. Right now playing PES 17 which cost £2.50 on ebay and it probably the best football game I've ever played .Used to love PES when younger, so many memories playing my mates stoned on PES 6
Fifa 23 sadly. Because I'm absolute mug when it comes to this game :)
Bit wiser now the last few gens with regard to new releases and am more than happy to wait for the price to come down and get the actual full bug free game as intended a few months after release.
GTA 6 though would be an exception when that comes out :)

GTA 6 is apparently running on rockstars RAGE 9 Engine, which is said to be better than UNREAL Engine 5 so we should all be in for a treat, I just hope that after a year or 2 of playing it still remains fresh and exciting
There's genuine competition to the Unreal Engine now? I should start reading my copies of Edge more thoroughly!
Yeah they (critics/reviewers) are saying RAGE Engine 9 (Rockstars Advanced Game Engine) is the best by far, even better than UNREAL Engine 5 and that’s borderline beautiful already. So this game might be the best thing for 5-10 years, but then again rockstar may just go crazy with the games after the release of gta 6 and accidentally make a rival to it
It's fascinating to me that they've made their own engine. I wonder what it can specifically do that Unreal can't, considering the development time of this. You usually want something very well tailored, or very high end, if you're prepared to sink the development time and cost into it. It would make sense to package that up as a saleable product afterwards to recoup costs. Not sure if you're into hi-fi at all, but Chord do that with their DACs where the circuitry is FPGA and all done in house. Like the way Analogue make their consoles so it's all hardware and not software, so hopefully higher quality.
I bought Elden Ring on release.... That ruined my playstaion experience, I quit after a few weeks of little to no progress. Haven't touched my PS5 in well over a year now.
oooft mate you will have to dust off that controller one day see if you can get a trial/deal on PS Plus there's some really good titles on there one of them will pull you back in :) thats always the gamble buying full price, I remember being tempted by Elden Ring but I was worried it'd leave me fed up so I didn't dare risk it
I don't mind saying, that game was too damn hard. I hadn't played any previous titles either, so didn't really know what i was buying. It just looked impressive and I pulled the trigger. I'll probably hold out for Starfield now.
Only one I went out of my way to buy on release was probably Red dead Redemption 2 And God of War Ragnarok
I thought exactly that about the difficulty level. When I had 0 responsibility I had the time to hone that skill level and to have fun with the grind, but not now. Anyone watch Cohh Carnage? If he and others of his calibre finds a game hard then I'll have no chance. Saved so much money though by facing that fact and getting baked and watching high quality streamers play the games for me. £50 for a game, or £55 for a live resin cart and watching the story in a haze?
I bought Street Fighter 6 on the day of release and Amazon delivered it next day. Something weird was happening that day as the price was in free fall, and it kept selling out, being back in, 10 left, more on the way, etc. It was under £45 when I ordered, which is ridiculous for a brand new release. Managed to nab a Victrix Pro FS at RRP too, but have to wait 4-6 weeks to get it.
The prices are definitely worth it. They charged £45 for a game in the early '90s, and you're getting significantly more for your money now. If you think of it as entertainment for a couple of weekends and you drink at home and have friends over instead of going out then it's a lot more cost effective than going out on the piss for those weekends, and the game will probably have a much longer lifespan than that anyway.

Barely buy nowadays, rarely day 1 due to bugs, kid time and cost.
Most are in bargain bin a month later 😂
Also game pass is such great value I’ve got more than I have time to play.

They do manage to obliterate most of the bugs with the 20Gb Day One Patch these days though, to be fair. If you think about it though that destroys these games for long term value, resale and playability as once the servers are switched off you just get the effectively unfinished game on the disc. Not like when there was no way to update so games had to ship completely optimised.
To be honest mate I rarely play games, despite often buying them, and the number of sealed games I have on my shelf has been a running joke between friends for years, some going back to PS3. I had to buy SF6 though as I've been into the franchise almost obsessively since SF2 in the arcade. Have a PS3 Mad Catz SF4 Tournament Edition Fightstick and that is a lovely thing, with all Sanwa Denshi buttons and stick. How could I not get the modern equivalent too?
Like you though I think generally I have enough with what I have as a backlog and the PS Plus stuff too has stuff on it released in the last year. I don't mind generally being that far behind if it results in me spending less (says the man who bought the aluminium fightstick that normal people would consider insane).

Lol to true Rux.
I had ps5 for a year and still not played it 😂
Loads still in wrapping.
So I bought myself a steam deck 🤷♂️
Tbh that gets a load of play as easy to pick up and pause around kiddo and has Xbox live.
Just need to quit my dota addiction (again)

I have this awful sense of missing out that makes me buy things, whether it was the PS5 that a mate managed to get for me, or whatever on here. I was eyeing up the Steam Deck. Always loved handhelds and that's ideal as most of the target audience will have a library of games anyway. The PS Vita was a lovely, yet unloved, thing, and I saved a huge amount of monthly games for years into my PS Plus account before I bought one.
I’ve not bought a game on release for a while now. So many games go on sale within weeks of release that it just makes sense to wait. I will definitely get Diablo 4 at some point though.
Yeah I'll be grabbing Diablo4 on sale for definite, might wait for a few updates etc too I waited until the Eternal Collection came out for D3 picked up for under 20quid and got way more than my moneys worth out of it lol :)
I did the same. They tend to have rough launches so it's never a bad idea to wait for a patch or two to be released.
I got Pokémon Violet on release and downloaded Honkai star rail on release if that counts but there’s almost nothing single player I like any more that I’d pre order and it’s that hard to convince my mates to play a new mmo or game that I barely bother.
I’m a creature of habit still play OSRS etc and I’m fine with that

I played the leak of Pokemon Scarlet, about a week before the release date. It stuttered like hell and and the animations didn't seem to load properly. I rememeber thinking: Well, that serves me for spoiling myself by emulating before the devs have a chance to patch issues.
Then the game released... Oh. It was supposed to look like that...
(I do actually like Scarlet and Violet, but I also agree that OSRS really was the golden era)

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingom and Animal Crossing: New Horizons are the two. Although ACNH was because this thing called the "global pandemic" was about to kick off, which made £60 for an "outside simulator" seem very reasonable.
Nintendo is pretty much the only gaming company that is honestly reliable though. Everyone else goes in the "eh, I will wait until it is on sale" pile. Unless they are Baldurs Gate 3. Fuck me, I wish I bought that game at release, haha.

Last game I bought on release was Ghost of Tsushima but that was a gift for my lil bro, amazing looking game. all new PlayStation releases these days go for eye-watering prices back in the ps2 days games were more affordable.
I'm pretty sure I've never bought anything on release. I'm a cheap fuck and wait a year or 2 and buy the CD key for a couple of quid online.

i'm really interested in immediate effects and anything that persists. for me it's under an hour and i was disoriented for maybe 8 hours with a 1/2 life around 1 hour.
Same, although i was watching porn for about 3, maybe 4 minutes. Not gonna lie.
Cheers. BB

I'm a tantric Sex God. But also over 40, drinking relatively heavily and dabbing up to half a g a day. Y'know how it goes...
I wish i did mate, i'm over 40 and a heavy drinker.
Sting with his tantric stuff was an influence on me, but only when i had to give money to Band Aid in 1984. Seems a bit too much like hard work. ;)
Cheers. BB

My mate tried VR porn, he got quite into it by all accounts. Unfortunately he lives with his parents, when he took the headset off there was a fresh cup of tea on his bedside cabinet 🤣😁
I've done maybe 4 hours, I switched up games though and that help you from over dosing in a single game.
I think the longest I've done in one go is about 3-4 hours. The weirdest part of VR for me was when I first got a headset, for about a week I felt like I was in VR all the time. The head-bobbing effect of walking in reality seemed exaggerated.
But all that's faded away now. I can use VR without any adverse effects except maybe a bit of eye strain for a long session.
But all that's faded away now. I can use VR without any adverse effects except maybe a bit of eye strain for a long session.
it seems to me the more immersive the platform the tougher it gets on the body. cheap vr gets on my nerves before i get queezy, a full on setup with peripherals and i feel like its a portal just getting back to irl.
Only1 hour. Played the space station game on occulus for about 10 minutes and felt so sick. Took me a good sleep before i felt better. Very disorientating!
For sim racing I usually use VR and I just don't like flat screen anymore, I'll probably VR for like an hour at a time. when your high and in vr racing, battling with dudes online, it's something to really try.
The last time i scuba dived i projectile vomited an hour after i got out the water. I don't think I want to try it in vr

Worms or bust: The story of Britain’s most tenacious indie games company
25 years after its Amiga debut, Team17 soldiers on with Worms and indie publishing.
The sound bites will always stick in my head! Lol
“You’ll regret that” or “oh dear” when you die 😂 Good times.. 💚✌️

Best games of this/last gen?
So as the world moves on to the latest set of consoles I'm wondering what the biggas think where the best games of the last gen? what are your must plays? did you find any hidden gems? found a good game to play with a spliff in hand? :P
There'll probably be some decent bargains on the way for those games you haven't got round to yet. I'm by no means a hardcore gamer but look forward to taking some recommendations! :)

GTA has to be one of the best games to play when your smashed without a doubt, I could just drive my car round for days when I'm stoned haha
I have an aversion to "wild west" themes but I bet I'd love this as a game if I could get past it. Might give it a try if it comes up extra cheap and see if I can bare the cowboyary lol
These sorts of big single player games have been getting a lot more popular this gen, I hope the trend continues. Ghost of tsushima looks good, obvs Witcher3 for me but Horizon Zero Dawn is another that's just so, so impressive although I couldn't get into it at first.

Ghost of tsukushima, god of war and spiderman, ( all Sony excusive,) witcher 3 qnd rdr2,the only game I want to keep on this gen
Xenoblade Chronicles 1+ 2 for the Switch and
Persona 5 Royal - Ps4- are my favourites RPGs for the last Gen.
They just feel right, the persona soundtrack is an awesome steak dinner for your audiophile soul.
Xenoblade Chronicles is just one of those good old times 100 hours story
RPGs that leaves a bittersweet aftertaste while the outro takes your experience into memory land.

It was an amazing game to be fair, great story playthough as well switching between the 3. Mad to think it came on the previous gen, it must be almost 10years old now? I wonder if we'll ever get a new one though?
I love racing games so at moment I'm playing Forza Horizon 5 a lot, Red Dead Redemption 2 is worth a look and you'd have to have a heart of stone not to cry playing it.
Don’t know if it’s already been mentioned but Goldeneye n64 multiplayer was 💩hot and original series ghost recon online team based multiplayer Xbox ⚡️
Last one😂😂 Rtype …awesome shooter. And did any one play altered beast or curse of sherwood on spectrum 128k🤙 Almost finished far cry 6👍
Smash bros, Mario kart and zelda breath of the wild on the switch. Recently finished god of war and enjoyed that, the first spiderman was good but found the miles morales to be rushed and a glorified dlc.
Really enjoyed hellblade on xbox / pc.
Out of them breath of the wild takes it easily.

I recently re discovered the world of Sony PlayStation having been xboxing for years. Got a PS4 on the cheap about 8 months before ps5 came out. Playing their exclusives I have to say some of them are the best, in my opinion of last gen. So my list starts with last of us, last of us 2,any Nathan drake game, horizon dawn. Then you got to have GTA5 and RdDR2. Gems for me are things like little nightmares, hotline Miami 1 & 2. The Res Evil 2 remake was awesome. And my fav game of recent times that has matured like a fine wine, is Days Gone. In case you wondered, I love a zombie apocalypse game….goes well with a spliff or 2. You can get most of these games on the cheap now. A mention for ghost of tshumia , got a ps5 update as well, so if you got a ps5 you can play the last great PS4 exclusive in shiny ps5 mode….
Uncharted, Horizon Zero Dawn, RDR2, GTA are all bangers. See I've gone the other way years been a sony fan boy then tempted by gamepass & jumped to the darkside. Can't go wrong either way
Resi Evil tell ya what Mr. X/Tyrant or whatever that big bastard is called seemed a lot more chewy in the remake he did my head right in lmao I almost walked away from it at one point
Playing last of us 2 atm since it came to PS plus, recently switched it over to the PS5 there's no update for it but it looks amazing anyway and loads quicker now :)

Last of us 2 such a great game, only hated by people who couldn’t get their heads around a more interesting take on seeing different sides of the coin….I won’t say more than that in case of spoiler….
Yeah I'm in the second half of the game so I get what you mean and I agree mate another great game just like the first was :)
Showing my age now perhaps but I burnt out on 1st person shooters a long time ago. I remember playing half life, unreal tournament and the like, playing the first few CODS and Medal of Honours. These games really haven’t changed that much over the years except with better graphics etc, but maybe that can be said of most genres. At one point first person shooters would be all I played so maybe that is why I rarely play them these daysrecent first person shooter games I enjoyed though are alien isolation and Wolfenstein for a quick blast of ultra violence
Medal of Honour allied assault brill game just about everyone on the server had glowskins cheat on . Now elite dangerous & cod / wreckfest
Got cyberpunk on the cheap, flawed game for sure, not as amazing as expected. Reading that it runs best on Xbox series s, not the x, wtf….
Playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla atm, not far from the best in the franchise, and you do need to be a hardcore gamer to have fun.
Minecraft... After this I started feeling beta and watched Mike Tyson videos to restore the balance. Great on last and next gen. Incredibly relaxing.
I'm 46 now and didn't play games much when I was younger but we all used to play Mario Kart on the cartridge console in all sorts of twisted states and used to have a total blast. Recently discovered PUBG on the IPad and am kind of hooked. It's so much fun and you end up doing stupid dances and stuff yet highly skillful also. Skydive in with your mates and let the mayhem commence.
Some of those old school games were the best for playing with a bunch of mates, some other good examples outside of mario kart. How about micro machines, does anyone remember speed ball…..back in the day the original tekken on PS got played a lot in my group, any of the old worms games, v good for taking turns, passing the blunt….
Those kart games are so much fun when stoned with mates, Crash Team Racer was our favourite back in the day good times haha :)
Loved C&C red alert back in the day then halo wars because you could literally set up base start building your army and kick back with a phat joint before going to war😂 sometimes me and a friend would play against each other online and literally wait till everything was maxed out took like 3-4 hours😂and meet in the middle of the map for an epic battle 👌😮💨
Just finished the Mass Effect legendary edition I'm going to put that out there as the best trilogy, first time I've played all 3 properly and on one save - I played it pretty much every day for the past 3 months lol at this point I am Shepard, my best friends are a Quarian named Tali and a Turian named Garrus and I AM commander of the Normandy! :P
Genuinely going to miss my jaunt around the galaxy but suppose at least now I can do some real life for a bit.. or maybe Andromeda? we'll see lol

I fully understand the aversion to a "cowboy game" and I know millions of people have already lauded rdr2 but.... it is an amazing piece of art. I'm playing it on an original xbox one with a non HD TV and it still looks amazing. The set up where I play it is in a garden shed - I've come back to it tonight for the first time in 2 months (warmer at night now) and it blows cyberpunk 2077 out
of the water (which I'd.been playing on a ps5 and better tv) but not just for looks. RDR2 is so much more of a fully realised world. Anyone that smokes etc etc really needs to experience this game.

If your looking for a multiplayer FPS i highly recommend r6. I play on PC but has alot of console players aswell only game which gets the adrenaline proper pumping for me. High skill gap alot to learn generally fun solo even better with a coordinated stack of friends. edit: Might not be the best game when stoned but it is for me i know a few of my mates who cant play it to well stoned but for me it locks me in even more

Best Game of 2023?
I still have games in the cellophane from 2022 in the backlog of shame.
Fucking kids (and dota) 😂
Personally I don’t rate the many reskins, rehashes, reimagine toons or remakes.
Low risk option to make your moneys back. I know all too well how expensive game dev is but want something truly magical again.
Maybe I’m getting old, but I fear it’s lack of true innovation in the space.
One day the skunk will get backing for his own studio 🤞

The Finals is the new FPS to play with destructible environment, fast paced gameplay while also being easy to get into within the first 3 matches or less. I would say this is a great game to play if you are an arena shooter player or a movement player.
Baldurs Gate 3 took the cake easily for me. I ignored it for the first 2 months because I don't play D&D or CRPG's. But everything about it sunk me in, the cinematics, the freedom, so much content and loot, storylines and side quests are great. Got over 400 hours in so far and still finishing a run on tactician while playing with a friend on a different save.
Lethal Company was a fun friend party game to play, however after 20 hours my fun ran out. Would return when there are a few new monsters or something to reward long term play.
Last of Us remake on Steam was fun. (After waiting 5 months after release for a discount and beacuse the game was a buggy mess during this time)
Resident Evil 4 was awesome, I never played the old ones. I started from Resident Evil 5 years ago and went on from there.
My final pick has to be Baldurs Gate 3. Story, game mechanics, high replayability, animation, customization, range of classes and races. I am still finding new areas, spell combos, and strats after 400 hours. This is my desert island game right now.

Apex wont like me saying this lol but it seems like remakes are unfortunately still the best games these days.
Resi Evil 4 probably best game of 2023 for me and game of 2024 will 100% be FF7 Rebirth, no contest, that is a game I'm ready to lose a few months of my life to :D
Biggest disappointment of 2023 has to be Baulders Gate 3 - can't believe I fell for the hype like a right mug and dropped £50 on such a dull and generic game. Genuinely can't see at all where the hype has come from for this game it's completely mid-level. Ah well lesson learnt... until the next time!

I don’t dispute they are some of the best mate just annoys me.
I’ll pick up last of us 1 and 2 on ps5 soon and not play them 😂
I’ve just done the resident evil run myself and on 3rd remake on steam deck.
Been meaning to try the finals and bg3 but time is limited and dota 😂

I'll be honest I couldn't even finish the 3rd Resi Evil found it too stressful lol I don't know what it was with those Resident Evil remakes maybe I've just been smoking way too much weed or maybe it's just because newer games are so easy but even the 4th remake had really tricky bits and that one was a breeze originally.
They're taking the piss with the last of us remasters though I'm not playing that again I'm not.... I think I'm not lol.

Yeah I think the backtracking in re can be a put off and bore at times to me.
I totally didn’t buy last of us 2 as I still had ps4 remaster to play 😂
Now I’m just waiting for 1 and I might play both on ps5 by end of 2025

Sensible Soccer is back!
Now called Sociable Soccer, made by the same people - one for the old school football nerds :D
I definitely wont be buying the EA game this year so glad to see this released today, £25 on steam and coming to console in the new year. Waiting on a couple of reviews before I buy but I'm pretty much ready to go all in on this bad boy coz I'm a... GOAL SCORING SUPERSTAR HERO!
Stay high biggas! :) If anyone has it let me know what you think!

Goal Scoring Superstar Hero....tuuuune :)
Would be great if this included real players and multiple world leagues like SWOS...sadly licensing and money might make that impossible. Anyways...hopefully it reviews well..really miss the days of having multiple footy titles to choose from.

Don't know exactly how deep it goes but it is licensed mate so its got real players, teams etc all in there :)
Nostalgia got the best of me today I ended up buying this (saved a few quid from allkeyshop) but also bought the Resi Evil 4 remake on PS5 so I haven't had chance to play it yet! Fun weekend lined up though :D

xbox or playstation?
I've got both and they are both excellent, although overall I'd say I prefer the Xbox series X but the games on PS5 (God of War, Ghost of Tsushima etc) are better and the PS5 controller is brilliant, battery life not so good I'm afraid. Also PS5 has only around 600GB of storage which isn't much considering God of War is around 100gb (series x has around 800gb, which is slightly better but you can buy an SSD expansion to plug in back, this costs around £200 though). If you can get both, if you can't I suppose it depends what your after, game pass is excellent value on xbox too
Playstation for me but can any biggas confirm if the PS5 is actually real or is it part of some ruse? I've still never seen one! lol
Well can now confirm the PS5 is indeed real got my hands on one this week has hit my weed budget pretty badly lmao but they are amazing :)
I kept an eye on the ps5 Twitter account for stock alerts. I got an alert for an Amazon drop between 8-10am. They were in stock for 20 minutes. You have to be quick.
I did many shifts trying to get one at the start, now cba my pc is still rocking 165fps on max on most games
I need xbox for halo launch though!!!!

I managed to get both next gen.
anyone still struggling, try the phone app called "hotstock" (red and white icon)
then pay for 1month sub, 2.99 or something and watch whichever console you want. it will spam you with notifications but I got both consoles at RRP in a week!!!

Got an Xbox360. Bought it so I could play COD 3 with my mates online. Stuck to that console and the subsequent COD franchise for a few years.
Just bought myself a first release PS1 not so long ago with Destruction Derby, Tomb Raider 1+2 and getting Ridge Racer soon. Had one in the late 90s when it came out but gave it my sis when I went to Uni and she sold the thing. Fucker! Got one back now though.
Got an Atari 2600 too.
Played both Xbox and PS more recent gen consoles, and I prefer the Xbox online interface and usability.

I was Xbox for years, had a lot of different consoles, but a few years back got back into ps because I wanted to play their exclusives. Simply put Sony ps have better games, more exclusives and still have the same games as Xbox. Xbox has failed on exclusives now I feel for a number of years, Xbox live swayed back in the day, but I prefer a good one player exclusive that I can play well into the stoney night. Nintendo switch is good to. I will no doubt get an Xbox series x when they are eventually stocked up and plentiful, so maybe in 2022…..
Xbox all day .( Series X only )
Backwards compatible for a massive library .
Game pass far better than ps
Forget all the bs about having no exclusives for me ps only has god of war, ghost of tsushima and ratchet and clank other than that it's a brick.
Have ps , switch and Xbox So not to biased .
Ps for last gen tho ...
Just my opinion ✌️

I've finally gotten around to playing High on Life. I'm enjoying having humanity in the palm of my hands a bit too much 😜
In 2013 Jagex who own Runescape found backups of the game before they screwed it up basically, and it was files from 2007.
A small team took over it as a side project and it’s amazing it’s constantly updated and is Oldschool RuneScape that runs alongside RuneScape 3 which is the updated game that has a lot fewer players.
Ever want nostalgia come play it again there’s thousands of us!

Not usually my type of game, but I’m proper lost in Hogwarts legacy. Great game after a bowl or two :)
I have a friend who plays that shit now, he used to be real good at rocket leaguentoo, but ever since he found distillate he has fallen from a crystal player to a lowly platinum
Don’t be fibbing randomiser, it’s widespread knowledge you have no friends xD and anyways, I heard your always at least two games behind your Rocket League team captain, so down of that horse.
My wife wouldn’t let me get it (she would but wouldn’t get me it for my birthday) because JK Rowling is a c**t and I just got hyped up and never bothered, was it good after a few days of playing?
I love Doom Eternal so much. Personally I find you have to stay calm and treat it like some weird racing game where you just rip and tear as you have to keep moving around the course like a race track.
Definitely one of my favourite games ever.

Dude, you sound like someone who needs to play DayZ. Watch therunningmanz or freshspawns on youtube and you will get a good idea of what the games about. Best game ive ever played. The last of us has an online for it too called factions multiplayer. Straight up war🤣
Ahh, I don’t play DayZ as I’m on console but it’s comfy af kicking back to a bit of the ole runningmanz
Ha, great thread. Cyberpunk 2077, especially when I am high, it feels like I live inside the game lol
After watching the GTA 6 trailer the other day I was craving a rockstar game so I'm replaying the red dead 2 story, such a great game! 10/10
I'm obsessed with outriders at the moment it's really good, just waiting for starfield to launch (no pun intended) next month and I'll be booking some annual leave haha!
Project Zomboid. Relaxing, frustrating, steep learning curve, hit zombies in the face with griddle pans. What more do you need?
just floating around elite dangerous & ARK: survival Elevolved
waiting on starfeild being released

Elite I enjoyed but haven't bothered with horizons
I may have purchased my first vr headset (rift) pretty much purely for elite at the time...
Actually I need to go back to that

Retro…Call of duty 2…playing through the campaign….when cod had long campaigns. But it was cod2 online that grabbed my attention away back 2006…4v4 main gun and a side arm…grenade and a smoker…simple times pure dead brilliant
MK1 at the moment, though I haven’t played a fighting game since I was a kid!
Always been a pvp gamer.
Always been struggling to find good pvp action outside of shooters.
And fighting games have been here the whole damn time lol.
Been living a lie.

You've reminded me: Street Fighter 6 has probably updated and downloaded everything so I can play now! But it's 00:32. Sleep is probably wisest...
Not playing it right now but a blast from the past anyone remember "Sinclair 64" with the tape player to load games and the tiny black keyboard? Oh PaperBoy was the game we loved! Been on ebay and seen you can still get them !
I'm currently playing super snail on android 🤣 super addictive. Join my clan (kimchikings). I'm 53 highest ranked in the world 💚
Amazing seeing all the osrs players on here. Brilliant game, been hooked to runescape since 2005.
Currently playing through a Total War: Warhammer 3 campaign myself.

I'm playing gta v online but started to look at redfall last night and I'm not sure what to think lol
Dude, come and join me on an apocalyptic journey like no other. Come and enter the one and only world that is. DayZ.
I keep seeing this creep back up on Steam. I played this waaaaaaay back when it was an ARMA 2 mod and it still stands out as one of the most interesting online experiences. Like 99% of it was utter shit, running around an enormous map, janky as fuck zombies, not seeing a single person, randomly breaking your legs and then getting killed by someone you never even saw. But fuccck when it was that 1% it was something really special.
Well…..funny question. Its never been fully fixed it has constantly been getting fixed and updated and patched and what not. Its looking better than it ever has. If you haven’t played for years you would be shocked as to what its become now. I only play on console but I am moving to pc soon so I can get all the maps that the main streamers play on. On console dayz we only have chernarus and livonia to explore.
On pc you have like a near enough unlimited number of some amazing maps now.
For example, deer isle,
takistan, esseker. Theyre just to name a few. Its quit insane. Never known a game like it 🤣

Ohhh man the map! I forgot about the map. I remember I was working at a place that had a huge printer capable of printing on canvas for construction signs etc.
I printed like a 6ft by 6ft (way bigger than I realised) copy of the map onto canvas. It was absolutely beautiful......and no real help whatsoever aha!
What route you going with on the PC front Finbar? Building or buying? Is the whole graphics card shortage over yet? I'd seriously recomend taking a look at the STALKER mod - Anomaly when you do get one. It feels like the single player ancestor to a lot of these style of games IMO.

You haven’t played for a long time it seems. Check out youtube and youll see how much its blown. Watch “the running man z” and “fresh spawns” youll get the jist. Yes sir you have definitely played DayZ! 🤣🫶
Also, the last of us has an online called factions multiplayer. There is nothing like that either. Supply raid is basically a 4v4 each team starts on 20 then it goes down to sudden death potentially. All in all great games if you love the zombie apocalypse scenario. The last of us story mode is the best story I have ever watched. I was guttered when they deviated in some parts from the game compared to the series. It is what it is I suppose haha
If you want a good idea of how you play it so you learn quickly. Watch therunningmanz and fresh spawns. Trust me dude. This isnt just a game. Youll soon realise. Just remember to have fun along your painful journey! 🤣

Alex Jones Video Game
I just got done playing Superliminal. It is a first-person puzzle Indie game.
From the mind-altering optical illusions, soft music and liminal spaces to the profound lessons taught throughout. This is the only game I have played that somewhat resembles a psychedelic experience.
The only negative is that the game is quite short (9 levels that take around 2 hours in total).
It costs around $20 on most platforms but it's also on Xbox Game Pass right now. It can be quite challenging at times but if you think outside the box you will get there.

Fall Guys - Free to play
Pretty fun. Fucking infuriating. Slightly fun. Need a new controller.
It has to be the hardest platinum trophy in existence lol. I got all except winning 5 contests in a row which is seemingly impossible. Not 5 individual races 5 whole events back to back. PlayStation claim its a 2% earnt trophy but if anyone can get that or give any tips on how to id love to know.
Use the limited time game modes. I won about 10 in a row yesterday of the sweet tooth mode. It's much easier as the thieves and you seem to be assigned thieve much more often. With the limited time modes they are pretty much a final. One round shoot out. 5 in a row I was thinking would be ridiculous but I got it with ease the first time I went for it. Took me about an hour.
I shall look. I played when it was first released and i just Couldn't get it, new game modes might entice me back to claim that platinum.
Yeah the limited modes are around for a few days before being replaced by others but they all seem to be one round shootouts. You'll get 5 in a row easy.
Played this first time last night. My mates weren’t convinced when I suggested it but after they’d played a couple of rounds were hooked.

Is this the boxing one? I think I saw a game play video a while back and I got a sweat on just watching it lol.
Currently playing The Exorcist: Legion. Seems quite good so far.
I'll keep an eye on this thread for recommendations though!

I love it but I'm reeeally bad at it. Fine to start with but when it speeds up I'm done lol
Glad I’m not the only one 😂
Good game for parties and people who are new to VR as it’s quite intuitive. Easy to pick up and play but tricky to master.

Yeah definitely great if you've got people around lol. Is there any bowling games that you know are good. Ooo or maybe darts or something. I'll have to have a Google!
Half Life 2 VR mod, Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, Blade and Sorcery, Ancient Dungeon. I've played a lot of VR games and the Half Life 2 VR mod is what I am playing right now and I love it so much. The game design of that game translates so well in VR and I haven't got bored of this 20 year old game that I have completed so many times.
Very excited to see what the Apple Vision Pro can do, the headset is so god damn powerful that it will easily do seamless AR / VR processing. Hell yeah its expensive, but to me this headset might finally be the birth of non controller vr, eye tracking as well as 4K viewing.
Unity have a deal with Apple and have released a APK package to start making games for that headset, Unreal Engine has a feud with Apple because of Fortnite revenue. So at the moment you have to install multiple packages to start working on that but I like what they have done for AR experience of leaving notes in your home in the digital world of chaning the size of objects.

Anyone tried Gorilla Tag? The Crotch Goblins play it. I'm creased just watching them but never tried it although they keep asking me to!

Happy days =)
Was a much shorter wait than expected considering the lawsuit issues.. now just need to wait for the servers to get their shit together 👌
$35 for Standard which comes with EA
$50 for Deluxe with Skeleton + Blue Torch skins and access to future test servers.
Enjoyed it a great deal in the playtests, definitely recommend this ✊

Crusader Kings 3 - AGOT Mod
Pretty bored with my current selection.
Is there any exciting looking games on the way? Or already out... let me know your suggestions below.
I was quite intrigued to hear there is a new Harry Potter RPG on the way, Hogwarts Legacy... I’m not the biggest fan of the series but I can see the appeal for a video game, I have fond memories of the ps1 game in my younger years.
Sons Of The Forest looks like a cool game too, I love zombie/mutant type survival games and this looks beautiful, clean colourful graphics and gruesome zombie killing what’s not to love🤣

A few upcoming titles in my steam wishlist:
- Starfield - a new Bethesda RPG.
- Ark raiders - developed by embark studios which is where all the talent from DICE went. Seriously check out a trailer for The Finals by them as well and you’ll see how destructible all the environments are (You know, that feature we used to have in battlefield LOL).
- The Day Before - Looks like a zombie apocalypse version of the division. Looks really cool but I’m wary as the developer isn’t very experienced. Think they’ve only made mobile games before.
- Evil West - This just looks like a mental shooter with additional powers where you kills demons in an old western style theme. Should be good co-op.
- Warhammer 40,000 Darktide - I’ve not played any of the warhammer games but love the art style and lore of the 40k universe. This one’s getting lots of hype when the streamers reviewed the beta. Should be good co-op.
- The Callisto Protocol - This is by the developers of the original dead space series. As always EA fucked up dead space by not letting the developers do what they want so this is them doing their thing without EA.
- Hell is us - Haven’t got a clue what this is. I watched the trailer, haven’t got a clue what’s going on, but I want it. Just watch the trailer.

I also have fond memories or Harry Potter 😂

Dead Island 2. Been waiting 9 years for the sequel and it’s finally coming out, such a fun series.
There's plenty of exciting games on the way. No Star Citizen isn't one of them because we all know now it'll never be finished! Anyway Starfield from Bethesda may have potential if you like space and have liked other Bethesda titles.
If you like Sons of the Forest and survival stuff like that then you should check out Green Hell, seriously you get parasites and worms and can go insane it's great! It really depends on what you like, seems like rpg and survival might be what you're going for.
There's some decent youtube vids with upcoming games for 2023 so just search for that n you'll find some good-uns.
Keep it Real ;D

I like games with inhospitable worlds where survival feels like a real achievement and for me the holy trinity of these games are;
Project Zomboid - I feel like every single zombie movie is inside this game.
Kenshi - Beep Beep
STALKER (modded) - There's just something about the Zone that always calls me back. It's like putting on a comfy pair of slippers.....that are giving you radiation sickness.

just have to shout out for this one, its got me through lockdown. along with you biggaz :)
Another great vr fighting game worth a look is gorn. Similar in many ways but a more animated wacky gladiator style with incredible physics. The weapons really feel accurate to the movement. Its only a cheap game, but after a few days does get a little repetitive, but great for 15 quid.
this game killed one of my quest controllers :( it was fun while it lasted tho :) hell of a workout!

DARK AND DARKER: A GAME I HAVEN'T BEEN THIS PUMPED ABOUT FOR YEARS
This game is still in playtest, well it ended yesterday but the 4th one will be sometime in feb
It's been blowing up massively especially in the 3rd run
If you're a fan of dungeon type games like skyrim, elden ring ect and have a eye for medieval PVP you'd love this, I finally feel I have a game to grind out again.
The best part about this game is not only the atmosphere, but how difficult the combat/loot system is.
I've just linked a penguinz vid but If it's your type of game it should be a good enough video to watch. Little slow but other vids from streamers are more intense.

I pretty much just started and my boyfriends master rank already, still have fun playing with him but it'd be nice to know at least 1 other player lol
Oh yeah? I played a little bit before the expansion but not much. Only annoying thing for me is the defender armour and weapon sets, makes you a bit lazy sometimes

buying with btc on g2a?
Huge numbers of those CD keys are the result of credit card theft/fraud. Whilst you can grab yourself a bargain, the developer ends up paying. It is encouraged to use piracy over shadey resellers, even by some developers.
as much as i'd love to stick it to EA i would hate to enable a thief so i looked at this and the site claims the codes are basically greymarket re-distribution. i'm not sure i believe this but i also don't see how they are in business without the tacit consent of Microsoft, Sony and a half dozen others that could crush their ass.
It's also hard to see how there could be a mass scale of game code theft. Unlike credit cards there aren't millions of databases holding your details.
The keys are not stolen. They are paid for with fraudulent means in some cases ( credit card theft, account phishing etc)

Basically instead of the game studio owning every piece of property in the game space, the players do. Tools, skins, characters and any other asset can be bought and sold by individuals in a free market. A blockchain records all transactions and facilitates this trade.
Thank you that's very interesting, seems like we could eventually all move into gamespace and stay there :)
I think the news is more dystopian. There is no racism in gamespace, no wicked presidents or prime ministers, no opiate crisis, no social distancing, lethal diseases, massive unemployment.
In fact, let me just have the blue pill right now.

occulus quest2?
it's a new medium to explore on its own terms. it doesn't beat the old platforms on much yet but it has it's own magic to enjoy.
It's a game changer in every sense of the word, go for it and make a new fb account - I agree with Jonny's point.
Think the technology is awesome and some of the games coming out look class. Only issue I have is with Facebook. Stories like this make me think twice about investing https://theconversation.com/facebooks-virtual-reality-push-is-about-data-not-gaming-145730.
the usual facebook data suck plus the don't leave the store with this item even after you pay for it hustle.
Got one at Christmas, and to a kid who grew up in the 80s and has been promised VR since the early 90s, it's a dream come true. they are amazing pieces of kit for the price tag, and if you can link it up to a powerful enough pc, the games are an incredible experience. That said, the games that run on it natively can be excellent too, and by far the standout for me is SuperHot:VR. such a simple game, but so bloody brilliant and an easy way to live out your childhood fantasies of slow motion shoot outs and action scenes!
Hi I love my original quest. modded it to the frankenquest. yet to use my quest link cable. and use my PC to have more fun. not used it while stoned. but i will. my son in law has the HTC VIVE. but the quest gives you more freedom. imho. best wishes Gaz
The only VR headset I've tried is The Oculus Quest 1. I thought it was really cool tbh however I didn't think the technology was quite there yet, the screens seemed a bit low res to me and it felt like the refresh rate needed to be upped. Which maybe there have been upgrades to the new models but Imma hold on till they got 8K screens in each eye, now that would be next level immersion ;) Also the oculus quest is without a doubt the most uncomfortable thing I've ever had on my face... seriously it's pretty awful lol

If you are a PC gamer... You HAVE to play Valheim. The most amazing gaming experience I've had for years! Anyone else played it yet?
Put 50 hours in to it in 5 days, been a while since i was so in to one game. So far so good.
Same as that. We've cleared the 3rd boss and have slowed right down to build a massive village. It's still not tiring 100 hours in.

Thoughts on Cyberpunk 2077?
Thoughts on Cyberpunk 2077?
Anyone played or seen Cyberpunk 2077, I've watched a few videos on it & thought it looked alright, not sure whether to buy it though, would be great to hear from other people what they think of it and if its worth the purchase. thanks
I've been playing on Stadia ( I have a potato PC ) and it was 95% stable since day 1 which is good. It was in a high frame rate setting by default which looked ugly AF but once found the setting and changed to quality over performance and it looks fantastic. I'd say it's a good game, but I don't think I'd call it a great game. It's very shallow, the open world is a lot more basic than even skyrim and not a patch on RDR2. The story is also not yours, its Jonny Silverhands which is a bit crap for a supposed RPG. Youngrippa did a good video about expected (or promised?) features and how almost all of them don't exist in the released version. People talk about the bugs sure but it has many more flaws than that. The linear story is fine, albeit about someone else. But you have to ask what the fuck they were doing for 6 years when they couldn't even get some basic systems functioning properly in that time. And I think Youngrippas other observation is correct - once they paid for Keanu the game took a different direction, the earlier iteration was honestly probably the better game. It's definitely worth a play, cruising around the city with jazz on radio and smoking a J is a sci-fi wonder. But the shallowness of the mechanics and open world definitely let it down. In time I hope they flesh it out more like what was spoken of in their 45 min gameplay videos from a while back, cos it just isn't that game right now. I'm near the end of my playthrough, starting to struggle to bring myself to bother and absolutely no incentive to go back and just dip in and "enjoy" the open world cos frankly its dead. So you play for the story and once you've played the story I don't know why you'd replay it, the life paths only open up 1 or 2 different dialogue options. If you want to see a nicely rendered cyberpunk/sci fi city and a fairly engaging story then you'll be satisfied. If you're looking for a deep open world experience with a good amount of replayability then I would say "watch out". 6.5 out of 10. But definitely a potential for higher score in the future - again - I'm not even factoring in any bugs - just what the game "is". And what it isn't...it's not one of my favourites, sadly. But it is in no way a bad game.
I've been looking into stadia and Nvidia geforceNOW recently. How good actually is stadia cus I have heard mixed reviews, I no longer have a proper PC on a laptop which obviosly can't run anything good on it. Just really wondering how the stadia runs, what are the graphics like, is there any problems with it and if its actually worth getting, cheers mate
If you subscribe to youtube, you can get a Stadia for free. Well not free; the Sub is £14.99 here.
Just be careful as if Stadia ever does shut down, you'll be left with nothing.
Just be careful as if Stadia ever does shut down, you'll be left with nothing.
How smooth is stadia running, I've never used it. does it get the same FPS as a normal gaming PC?
Yes... but then, why wouldn't it? The only thing it's really dependent on is your internet connection. Some graphics options are not always available (as they are preset on the machine the game is being streamed from). But I don't notice any difference from a game installed on hard drive to playing on Stadia myself :)
Might have a look at getting it then as my current PC just isn't good enough for gaming. So you recommend it then?
I have Stadia and GeForce Now. The latter costs me £5 a month and the former - well - I started with the "Pro" version (for 4K, but as I say I have a potato PC so no 4K monitor or support etc) so scrapped it, so effectively I have Stadia for free and just buy the games I want (so far only two, RDR2 and Cyberpunk - though I plan to buy Far Cry 5 and Metro Exodus in the near future). Sure, I was laughing along with everyone else about Stadia before trying it, but honestly, it's pretty great. When it doesn't work it is only because it's 5pm and my ISP (post office, pretty crap) is under strain. At all other times of the day, it works flawlessly and I only get 1 to 2mb down if I'm lucky. It's fun to know I can also put Chrome browser on some other devices and play the games there too, like my old crappy laptop and smartphone! The choice for me was made cos I don't have much HDD space left and am not upgrading my PC yet, these factors pushed me towards Stadia and GeForce Now for the meantime. Also that no download is needed so I buy the game, press one more button and I'm playing. It's nice! GeForce Now is also good however I honestly think the performance on Stadia is that little bit better. I try RDR2 on Stadia at 3pm and it works fine, but another game on GeForce Now at that hour is a bit stuttery. I do also like GeForce Now, as it is linked with Steam. Deus Ex ran almost flawlessly, JP:Evolution also. Star Trek online is a hot mess however, no matter what time of day (even 3am in the morning) and it runs like crap. But overall very happy with GeForce Now as I am with Stadia. But like I say outside of the one-time purchase of games for Stadia, I'm not paying for it, so I don't have much to complain about. I am totally over owning hard copies of games - they are just "stuff", stuff that can be re-bought in the future if I must. Finally, speaking to other Stadia users (actual users, not people who are merely looking at it and commenting lol) they all sound a bit like me - happy with it. So you are right (and wise) to ask people who actually use it. I'm yet to find someone who uses it and ISN'T satisfied. They probably exist, but through Red Dead Online I've met a lot of people now and whenever the Stadia conversation comes up, it's generally praise. All the best!
This game was way overhyped! More of a glorified single player call of duty.
It's like the developers never played legend of zelda.
For me, any new RPG needs to be a mixture of skyrim and gta at least, it's 2021 for God's sake.

The most disappointing game I think I’ve ever played. Been hyped for this game for years ever since announced basically 10 years ago. What a waste of time. So many performance issues and that’s before we even talk about whether the games actually any good. Personally I can’t believe the nonsense CDPR have put out, sent mine back for a full refund it was that bad.
Yes very true, never sent a game back but honestly never been so angry/disappointed with a release. Just a complete shambles. To be honest even without the performance issues (which are game breaking) it’s just a very linear game which is pretty dull to play with absolutely no world depth beyond what’s on the surface. Even the story’s lacking. It’s just the complete opposite of what anyone could’ve expected from the makers of such a great game as The Witcher 3.
this comment is 100% spot on,i cant believe how little choice/interaction there is in the game, also the AI is terrible overall.im not saying no enjoyment can be had from the game but considering how anticpated it was falls short by some distance
its a shame i was really expecting it to be something really good, very disappointing
I completely agree with you about the performance issues ruining Cyberpunk. But I was just curious as to what you thought made the world building and story the Witcher 3 good compared to Cyberpunks?
Tbh it runs perfectly for me on pc(gtx 1660ti on ultra), I've finished most of the storyline and almost all of the side missions and I've encountered only one bug when an npc was walking in the air. I'm only a bit disappointed because the story seems a bit lackluster, honestly I was hoping it be like rdr2 where missions and side quests just come out of the blue and make the whole thing feel a bit more organic but hey..
I've been playing on PC since release and I've been enjoying it a lot. Deep down its a fantastic game but is currently ruined by bugs, crashes and poor optimization. I've been fortunate that I haven't came across many issues on my pc as it's fairly powerful. I'd say only buy it if you have a powerful pc or a PS5/Xbox Series X. Don't even consider it on a base PS4 or xbox one.
Playstation removed it from store it's so broken lol - I think it's safe on new gen consoles though.
One of the most overhyped games was always going to disappoint people, thankfully I don't read into any fanfare and I rarely watch game trailers etc so in a years time when the GOTY edition is on sale for £7 I'm sure I'll love it! :D

Ive Been playing it on Series X and Im really enjoying it, Ive had the Odd graphics glitch and thats it. Its still an enjoyable exprence. I would personaly say its far less broken that Fallout, Skyrim and The Witcher 3 on Release
Glad you responded becaus i was looking at getting the xbox series X with it but wasn't sure if it would be properlly broken like the xbox one, good to know its alright
Best I've ever played. Honestly. I'm on a series x. Crashea from time to time, and there's some bugs. I'm confident it'll grow even more and hopefully the multiplayer is a success.

Gt sport
Gt sport
Still playing gt sport, getting old now but still seriously addictive
I played for a while and I was a gt addict back in the day. I found the public servers crap, but playing with friends is a joy. IMO forza motorsports is better and I am a PlayStation guy. Didn’t get an Xbox till Xbox 360 with forza and always get them now for the one game. If you like console racers Forza is by a long distance the best and I’ve loved GT since on PlayStation before it had a number. I play every thing else on PlayStation.

Anyone got a jailbroken PS4?
Anyone got a jailbroken PS4?
I've just bought one with mostly shite games on the 5 hdd's that came with it. Is replacing these games as easy as downloading a PKG then sending it to the PS4 HDD via FTP or is it more complicated than that?
I've found the FTP setting on the PS4 and have FTP on my Mac.
I think most of the hard work in jailbreaking this console has already been done so I don't want to mess it up, but also don't want to play the majority of the crap on the hdd's. He hasn't even got GTA V.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers BB

Google it mate, i checked quickly looks like they use a loader to install from ao might need to DL that.
thouhh there is also USB drive method
thouhh there is also USB drive method
I could be wrong but if its the same as the cracked xboxs I used to mod then its just a case of getting the game onto the hard drive and it should boot up from there. Sounds like the method you mentioned should work mate.
Good luck
Good luck
You are right. You put it onto the hard drive and the chips etc booted the game on the cracked firmware ....I even remember renting games from blockbuster to copy them onto the hard drive.....that takes me back some years...simpler times
ive still got a couple ?
and the blockbuster rip was amazing mate well played, i rinsed them too. then i got rapid downloads and got them all as so small.
trouble nowadays is they are massive, think COD is the max atm at 200gb!!
might be able to save space if you can NOT install other languages. but usually EGIGS are packaged together so get American versions
Can i post YT links here, theres a lot of steps and details about firmware and stuff mate

Always gets really popular around the time of a new generation of console. It’s last gen now. PS 5 is worth the money if you can get one. Holding off on new Xbox till new forza motorsports.

What's everyone playing during the quarentine?
What's everyone playing during the quarentine?
Our eyeballs are sore from playing the new battle royal cod mode. We are also playing insurgency 2 and unwinding with some stardew valley in the evening...
What are you playing?

Currently playing the latest, updated version of Girlfriend mind games. Managed to reach level 69, although my sanity meter is running low.
I need to download a Good PC based game hope it don't kill my laptop. XBOX is out of service so I am killing PUBG on mobile
https://www.decentraland.org - it´s the future! An anonymous and decentralized virtual world. Pay it a visit - go to Toke Social district. Or hang out in the The Club at Vegas City and listen to the live DJ spinning tunes
IL2 and a few other war games to while away the hours, although I still play hunt the postman and my missing parcels every morning too. :/
Just in case anyone has missed it thought I would mention that the Uncharted Collection and Journey are both completely free to download on PS4 and you should grab both while you can!
If anyone hasn't played Journey it's 100% the perfect game to play high with a joint, who knows maybe we will end up travelling through the desert together :) It's super chill.

Personally im playing BF1, Wargame Red Dragon and the Witcher 3 at the minute on PC but just hacked my daughters Wii U and tell ya sommat anyone into retro consoles, once you break the security on it the possibilities are endless. She can now play any Wii U, Wii, Gamecube, DS, N64, Snes or megadrive game for sweet FA. Shes in her element anyway!
For all you PC gamers out there... Shogun Total War 2 is free on steam until May 1st. https://store.steampowered.com/app/201270/Total_War_SHOGUN_2/
(Xbox One S) currently playing fallout 4. Would normally be MW or Fallout 76 but moved just as lock down stared so currently have no net, which is fecking nightmare with 2 kids
Got a Switch at Christmas time and currently addicted to Mario Odyssey (such a fun game for 420ers :)!) and still addicted to Football Manager
Currently playing the FF7 remake and it's amazing. Completely living up to the hype, in my opinion. The only thing that I don't like is that they're breaking it up into 3 parts but feel like a kid again playing it!
So many games not enough time
Eve online
Destiny 2
Red or dead 2
Boarderlands 3
Fallout 4
Skyrim
Cod
Wotmud

rinsing the fuck out of borderlands 3 at the moment, shoot things, get items, rinse, repeat - it makes me feel dirty, but i love it so much :D
Sorry if this thread is really old (Please add dates LB). I've been playing the hell out of hades by supergiant games. One of the best indie games I've ever played, I would highly recommend it to people that enjoy rogue likes.
Sorry to bump an old topic but Rocket League went free this week. I wasn't expecting to like it and didn't at first but then I went online (I never normally play anything online) and ended up enjoying it. Not sure how much I'll get out of it but it's free biggas and fun to just pick up and play for a bit here and there. Go get it!
