I read somewhere that a strain is considered to be indica when it has 5% or more of the terpene myrcene which causes the sedated couch lock effect.

Hi biggaz. Has anyone that smokes for the above reasons had much success with smoking hemp / high CBD flower with no THC? I’ve been researching it a little and it some people are raving about it?
I know people who don't "smoke weed" who have had success with anxiety while using CBD flower. Haven't met any stoners that have made the swap though.

and if that last line made you back off from owning then i’m talking to you especially. the basis of addiction is denial just ask your friend’s of bill’s. and make sure you cut them off before you wind up at a meeting, we’ll have none of that here but it is time for you to take a break to clean up and maybe get a little perspective on your usage from an un-stoned mind. then perhaps get really stoned and verify you results.
what we’re trying to do here is break the loop of needing to get stoned to maintain. being un-stoned needs to be something you enjoy too. and if you’re always stoned then being un-stoned can often be as novel and trippy as being stoned used to be.

cut another small fraction off your thc intake each day, it feels like you’re winning because you are.

Thanks for this post, think I might give it a go. I know about addiction after 25yrs of heroin, crack and benzo dependence. I can happily say I've been free of these drugs for 7yrs now which is something I never thought I would be able to say. I have no moral problem with myself smoking weed and it has certainly helped me overcome addiction to the other drugs but I still smoke weed daily and really would like to get my usage under control and stop smoking every day. So thanks again for the post it has inspired me.

Ive been smoking for 30 years to help my depression, in that time i have had a 12 month spell and an 18 month spell without weed simply due to my autism and social awkwardness. I was a 30 tonne a night labourer so my fitness i thought should be sufficient to cope without weed. I can absolutely go on record as saying even after 18 months with zero thc i never ever recovered from my need for weed. I have no family and have lived in total isolation my whole life, except for my cat. Legitimately i am 1 soul whos need for this plant supersedes plain addition. Just bought a house on the western isles miles from anything where once lockdown rules allow me to move there ishall retreat to an early retirement and in that location im confident i can be one of less than 100 uk residents prescribed this for depression. Its nearly impossible to get this on mainland uk because once a few people get a script it opens the floodgates.Hopefully in the coming months my weed bill will be 7 quid a month for 28g. I dont class myself an addict because my consumption has never increased. Ive never lost a job or committed a crime to fund a simple medical requirement. Where is the line between addition and necessity? Im in my late 40s and the last time i even ate a meal in the company of another human i was 19. That type of solitude some would say is caused by weed. I say my high spectrum autism caused those issues and weed makes it acceptable. So if 2 people smoke a gram a day is 1 an addict for using with no ailment and the other ok because a doctor says thats what is needed.
Always Be Down-dosing - that's my mantra. Then about once a week I updose :) if I'm with friends or for sport performance, then it's back down every day. Fucking guiltless and I'm always stoned

This is such sound advice, the cutting down intake prior to stopping helped immensely. Back to a lower tolerance saves money and makes smoking actually work again. I suffer bad withdrawal usually but with this method and some will power it isn't half as bad. Cheers

Perfect I think exercise with detox is the ultimate life hack, you can get a fix every time you feel bad and then you've got a healing loop started.
1 rule people: don't dose to feel good, just dose to not feel bad.
I would say if you want to add just a little transition step in there between the smoking and edibles there's always hash. You can smoke it and eat it :)

This is great but the thing is there's some of us that need something for the pain. Not the pain of quitting cannabis but the pain of living without it. I got hurt many years ago, tried a lot of things since then and cannabis has been the best answer without a doubt.
I agree with your comment, but I find that anything I use for pain loses its effectiveness over time. Cannabis is best in that I don't get any negative side effects, and it does continue to work well for a good month or so. I also don't have to fear drug interactions like when I'm relying on prescribed narcotics.
The prescription narcotics typically only do a good job on the pain for about 3 days. A new patch is still a bit helpful for a couple of weeks. But all my pain related prescriptions cause side effects varying from mild, to migraines, and serious nausea, going on, and coming off them.
The part that really chaps my ass is the mindset of so many doctors that won't even talk about using cannabis. They either push more narcotics, or tell me there's nothing else they can do, I just have to deal with it. I desperately wish I could make them feel what I do for just a few days, maybe they'd be more understanding.

This is awesome, thanks for it. Can I add 1 thing, it's to the compulsion fighting part. If you're having an overwhelming feeling to partake then just change your environment, get out of the room youre in, walk away from where you are, get in or out if the car. This is one of the easiest and most reliable tricks for clearing your head.

Hi okay to start with 90% of UK weed is sprayed which is very sad but its the truth mate. Cali bud is different from UK weed not just in quality but also terpene profiles meaning that the chemical THC is different in cali weed. Why is it different? Well heres why. Its due to the fact that when the plant flowers here in the UK they want to finish it as quick as possible so they cut it early most of the time which at 7-8 weeks of flower. Not sure I'd agree with the 90% figure but I wouldn't know as I've not bought weed in years as a grower. Can I ask though, what is the weed sprayed with? Serious question as I've heard this before but never seen or heard of a spray for sale that would help weed post harvest. Is it a spray that puts weight on the buds or something?

PGR -ghastly chemicals that are obviously used in many of the grows that end up being sold here. Very dense, large buds,with very numerous long pistils and other effects. The aim = profit ofc. So many buyers on here think that plumped up and huge buds are "fire", it's madness!
I do not want to consume such hormones or hormone pathway enhancers. I refuse it in our food as much as possible and have done so for many decades, growing our own organically - so there is no way I want the damn stuff in my herb.

I dont know about strains etc, i dont smoke. I have lumbar spinal stenosis and neuropathy. I buy mj concentrates canna chocolate. One square and im pain free for hours. Theyre cool to chat to as well so he wont mind you asking questions etc. You can also buy a single bar of chocolate if you just want to try.

They also cover all budgets and have an understanding of Medical uses and what bud gives what effect as they test/try all their products. You can usually find Reviews and appreciation posts for them on the topics, they are also usually near the top on the items pages. I’d be carful of any vendors with little sales or intro offers just until you feel confident as it can be pretty hit n miss and don’t want you being put off LB when you need to medicate ❤️ I’m not saying never just start off with a reliable vendor and that way you should know when something doesn’t seem right in future :)

Look for Indicas, mostly hybrids available with sativa genetics too so look for a high percentage of Indica genetics sometimes described as "Indica dominant". So Kush and its varieties are a good start. Indica gives a stronger body effect, I use them for pain and inflamation, I do have migraines occasional and it works for that too. Also varieties - Pink Zombie, Honey Cream, Purple Kush, Star Dawg and many others.
I prefer outdoor organic sun grown herb rather than Hydroponic indoor, so I'm using ChronusBuds ( seller - link above) at the moment, very helpful & friendly guy, small amounts possible. His herb does not have that "plumped up" hydro look so it puts some people off- but the effects are very good.

Ive tried many dry herb capes ranging from portable to plug in from 50-300 odd quid.
i found cheaper ones didn't do the herb justice, read up on volcano. pricey but will last forever and get more vapor feom your herb amounts :)

basically top end of vape machines.

Sometimes it can just be the wattage, I find if I dilute it more I get more flavours and a hit due to being able to withstand more vapour, check out our tinctures theyre sweet

Thanks. It’s just a cheap vape BLK Nova. But it’s fine for most weed, surprisingly good really. But I have this 8th of Alien Dawg I bought on here just before Christmas that I still have. I barely smoke it because it’s always really harsh on my throat.

Bit late now saying something in Feb. Wonder if it will be ok making edibles out of it?

My vape, although cheap, is fine. It’s fine with all the other weed I have. I like it a lot. It’s just this little batch. Maybe it’s just not to my taste.
Yep I think it’s the weed. It also makes me feel pretty crap the next day, like mega weed-over and bad tummy. This is why I have bought other weed and not really smoked it. Think I’ll give it away.
I can't speak for that vape as never heard of it but if you've used it successfully with different bud it may well be that particular weed. Have you tried smoking it in a joint and seeing how it smokes/burns?

I'm a fairly healthy young guy so I don't really have any health problems at the minute so I've never actually felt any of the health benefits of cannabis. Dose it actually have as much effect as some people say? I would love to hear from anyone that does use it for medical purposes

I use cannabis when my head gets too much (Borderline Personality Disorder), I've been prescribed benzo's in the past but they don't really hit home like a good old smoke does, and they aren't too good for you in the long run as they can be quite addictive.
Having a smoke can set me free from my mind which can be a blessed relief sometimes.
I must say though that I don't think cannabis is a "cure all" as such but it should be more widely recognized as being a plant with some healing/helpful properties that truly makes a difference to peoples lives.

Yes pal.. without a good strain I am completly paralized withoutany exaggeration, the only prescribed things that work for me are diazepam and they knock you out badly and are addictive as fuck so no long term things work for me but cannabis.

By dose#2, I was utilizing at night for sleep, RSO or distillate. As I progressed, I was also able to utilize during the day & that is when I really started to kick cancer’s ass.
From month #3 until I was declared “cancer free” I enhanced my chemo fog with a cannabis buzz.
Did it help? A 30 year oncology nurse told me I was worst than anyone they ever treated who lived.

I’ve been on a few anti depressants and promethazine for being suicidal and severely depressed and anxiety weed is the only thing that has worked for me when I’m without weed I notice my symptoms come back so I have to always have some on me in my honest opinion weed helps anxiety and depression.

Yes mate I mainly use it for its medical benefits, I have anxiety and it calms me right down, nothing works as well as cannabis for me, would be good to hear from someone that has physical pain tho

Basically as title says, really badly need some help with the Mighty that I recently bought. My experience so far has involved wasting loads of weed to get the tiniest bit of vapour off about 2 or 3 pulls which has not got me stoned in the slightest. I bought the Mighty as I really wanna stop smoking joints (baccy) but that’s never gonna happen if this is all the Mighty is. I’ve watched videos about all the tips etc and still it’s a pile of shit. So I’m thinking maybe my Mighty is faulty or is vaping really just a complete and utter was of time/money. I’m already smoking a joint again because this is totally unsatisfying.
Vaping is definitely not a waste of time and money and the mighty is a very well thought of vape but coming from smoking joints its gonna feel very different. I stopped combustion late last year but went through a few vapes trying to find something that worked for me. I have something similar to the mighty but have found that it doesn't give me the satisfaction of say smoking a joint as I don't get as stoned. This is partially due to removing nicotine and partially due to the device. People below have recommended butane vapes like the dynavap and from what I have heard they do appeal to the person wanting to quit joints cause of the way they hit, I bought a vivant v leaf go which is basically a battery powered version of a dynavap (imo) i run it through a small glass bong and it has completely replaced smoking for me. anyhow what i'm trying to say is vaping defo works but you need to match your devices to whats gonna work for you

I went for the digi volcano as dont realy smoke on the go,i usualy do bongs or buckets and the change over to the volcano was strange,only got hang of it now,i put at least half a gram of rough grinded flower in and i hit it at 230 c and it fills the bag with a proper vape cloud and makes me cough which i sorta need to feel to get a high,so my advice would be crank it up n try dif grind on material ie less or more grind,i find a quick rough grind not like dust :)
The mighty is an awesome piece of kit m8. If your not enjoying the mighty you must have a faultly unit. One thing I would say is though that the mighty will never be like a joint. On the first draw with the mighty you should be tasting the flavours of the weed at 180 and then ramping it up to 190, 200 and 210 till your bowl is cooked. You dont get loads of smoke with it like you do with a joint. To be honest if a smoked a joint I'd whitey lol... vaping is the way forward and the mighty is king!
I agree with Kickass below, either faulty or a fake cos mine was banging out of the box, only thing that stopped me smoking joints, 9/10 sessions I go for the mighty now so don’t give up on it imo, what temp are you running? Using dosing caps or just the bowl? Maybe you’re filling and compacting too much, maybe not compacting enough...
I’d honestly be contacting S&B or the retailer as deffo not at all right, agree with Kickass that it’s faulty or a Chinese knock off as mine was banging out of the box, it’s never going to be a spliff but it’s as close as you’re gonna get right now imo.

The Mighty works better with bud that is nicely dried/cured, not too moist and not too dry, . If too moist, can be difficult to get a good toke, as the weed clings together and prevents airflow. if too dry, it lacks potency. You can get away with these things when smoking a j or bong but vapes work better with weed that is dried properly.
Sounds like you either got a faulty unit or its a Chinese knockoff (yeah, they do that too..). What you described is not how the device should be working. Clean it off with cotton swabs and 99% alcohol and send it back.
Just to add to this. I have a Plenty by the same make/brand and get...plenty of vapour from it. Terrible pun. Always set at max temps and a great way to session smoke. I wouldn't let this put you off vaping it you can.
I’m assuming you have a mighty as well or have used a mighty?! Just wondering how you feel about the plenty ba the mighty as sometimes I want a giant bowl I can keep picking up and hitting and the plenty looks perfect for the job.
I've had a mighty but overall preferred how much easier it was to clean and maintain the plenty. The plenty is probably 20% better at producing vapour over the mighty. Downside is you're hooked in to the wall socket as opposed to having a more mobile device.. but that's not really an issue for my use case.
As for bowl sizes you can pretty much make any size bowl you want. The most I've tried is 1g but it could definitely take more. I got a room full of clouds with that, was like the straw that kept giving. I usually use a liquid pad for that reason.

Thanks for the response pal, yeh that’s what I’m thinking judging by what I’ve read about it. I followed all the tips as closely as I could with regards to grinding, packing etc. It shouldn’t be knock off but who knows these days, I’ll be sending it back anyway.

Smokers seem to do better on butane vapes.

ive always found that non of the electronic hand held vaporizers such as pax,mighty ,plenty, etc etc etc tick the box .They all have limited whispy amounts of vapour production and non produce decent clouds of vapour.Also As with most electronic gadgets nowerdays these types of vaporizers can (and will) develop faults that need repair or replacement.
Look into The sublimator(torch driven) and dynavap vapes ,neither are electronic,no way can they develop faults and both really do tick the ex joint smokers box massive clouds great high and all from very small amounts of material (hope this helps ) X

I use a masterdam stash jar (uv proof).... loads of different manufacturers doing these uv proof jars.... just get one thats about the same size as what your storing... I have a big jar for storing edibles and a little jar for wax and another little jar for concentrates then another jar that does an 8th exactly... my m8 gave me an 8th not that long ago and it was really dry with hardly any smell to it, few weeks in the jar and it's smelling lovely... the uv proof jar is supposed to preserve the thc better as thc doesnt like light

Hello. May I ask, why is it you feel you need your smoke to be indica? Is there a certain effect you are looking for from an indica strain? Just curious. Most (near all) cannabis is some kind of hybrid these days. A balance of sativa/Indica. The percentage will tell you the sway of the strain. Indica Dominant strains are heavier hitting and relaxing. Body stoned. Whereas a Sativa will provide a headier, buzzy high! The more a percentage leans towards one, the more of those effects you will feel. Try not to confuse the sativa/indica % with the strength % (usually between 15-30%) as that has a whole other meaning. Essentially, how strong the plant is, as a whole. Just wondering if it’s worth putting the Boveda packs in my regular stash jar? I keep the bud in the Mylar bags they come in (unsealed but folded and taped closed) and use a glass jar but would the Boveda pack be a useful addition to keep it all in optimum condition?
Never long term store weed in anything plastic/mylar.
Get an airtight glass jar that is close to the size of weed you're storing, buy a cheap hygrometer from ebay, pop it in the jar.
If it's around 58-62% relative humidity then don't bother with Boveda packs. If it's less or more throw one (8g Boveda 62% pack) in per 14g of product.
Keep the .jars at around 18 degrees.
As soon as the RH on the hygrometer reads around 60%, take the Boveda packs out. They have a tendency to remove the terpenes from the weed.

Depends on how much you’re storing actually . If it’s a gram or two that finishes in a few days , don’t bother . You will just get a new batch again but if u have a bigger stash and ure worried it dries out then 100% yes . Get it . No new tech here . They make for the cigar market and until recently the green market . Now they just tweak it for different plant with different humidity requirements . Same same but different . You might want to reconsider storing in plastic bags . The bags may have static and that pulls off the trichromes that’s why most ppl use glass jars . As for how you bag your gear . If it’s left unsealed certain parts of the world it will dry out faster . Certain parts of the world it might get moldy due to the high humidity. Hope this helps mate

Cut the bottom off a 2 litre bottle of pop, stick it in a bucket of water, use a milk bottle foil cap to to make a cap and fill with weed. Light it and pull up. Make sure you press down as you inhale.
The bottle and small pipe combo is the most quality and convenience I have ever had the high honor to imbibe.
You take a real simple weed pipe, metal or glass, and stick it in the mouth of the bottle.
If the bottle is plastic use any sharp object to stick a hole at the base.
Hold the bottle horizontally, put a straw in that hole and prepare for a monstrosity of a hit.
If it's a glass bottle you need something super sharp for the hole at the bottom, the tip of a strong knife or an ice pick does the job easily.
Water is optional, you don't need and its hard to balance. The best part of this is no cleanup, chuck the bottle when you are done, imagine a bong with a disposable chamber, that's what you got now bro.

I think what you have there is a DIY steam roller, I had one of these and loved it, yes water is totally optional its the expansion that does the magic and water is almost guaranteed to make a mess.

I bought a device on eBay that screws onto almost any bottle, turning it into a bong. When the bong water gets nasty just throw the bottle away and attach it to a new bottle. It's not completely DIY but it still has some merit nonetheless. Besides, nobody likes dealing with bong water and it's easier to hide when compared to a regular bong.

Mylar bags inside a brown (UV blocking) glass pickling jar would be a good bet. I stopped smoking for two years but still had my last 8th ‘in stock’ - it was in a regular baggie inside a coffee jar and it was still pretty good when I cracked it open 2 years later. I think some disintegration is expected regardless of how well it’s stored (but should still be a good high).

Coffeeshop La Tertulia is a great little spot. Very chill with lots of pot plants and right next to a canal.

I'm new to this site, found it because I haven't been able to get any smoke for nearly a year. A while back I took a day trip to Amsterdam simply because I was suffering badly. I done my homework before going, the place that all the locals use is a shop called Boerejongens. It isn't a cafe as you can't sit and smoke your weed in the shop. It has a stocked range of high grade cannabis and has a wide selection of Amsterdam genetic weed. I went to a few places, but Boerejongens was a grade above.
It's not exactly central but if you get a bit lost, or fancy exploring, down in the South-East is Coffeeshop Stud, on Molukenstraat. Very relaxed, locals only, good selection, great prices. God I love Amsterdam...
Grasshopper is nice. Its definitely a tourist coffeeshop since it's right opposite Centraal Station, so the weed isn't the best, but I love sitting out on their terrace on an afternoon just people watching/canal watching :)
Visit Katsu Coffeeshop, its close to De Pijp station on the metro. Its a small hidden gem a bit out of the center but close distance like 10min by metro. Absolutely love the vibes there, prices are alright and the quality of the weed is really good too. Also they have a toilet for which they dont charge like other ones lol. I suggest to visit definitely and leave high from there at least once and try to find your way around xd good luck!
Agreed. I went posh and paid silly per gram for some king hassan black 2. Made the mistake of flaming it to locals amusement, and 2 grams literally just bubbled and splatted on the skins within a second of flaming it. What a smoke.

Venture further south, about 750 km from katsu on the main vessel road and and tiny outlets on sidestreets have the best widow ive ever had, a shame i cant remember the name, but it was fitted like a chinese takeaway, no seats, a counter, menu, cheers. My tolerances are fine and could get through a henry of anything on here daily, but 1 joint of that widow was properly whitey brutal class A.

Haven't seen anyone mention Amnesia, went on my birthday & they gave me a complimentary waffle, cream & Nutella thing with a little candle which was awesome, and their Dr Greenspoon was out of this world. I also enjoyed dampkring, barney's & abraxas. Haven't been for a few years mind

Haven't been for about 10 years after being an every couple of month visitor. My all time go-to has always been Grey Area - in Singel. Can be a mission to find but for me the original standard for what was in Dam. Green Place has also been mentioned is a chill and good menu (think I recall Batman @ €22!!!!!) not like the old days of €20 for a 3.5...Abraxas I love, and get into Spuistraat some nice little places there inc. Kadinsky. Enjoy.

For bud quality and top smokes head to Borenjongens. Borenjongens have changed the game in Amsterdam massively with their own Amsterdam Genetics. Their coffee shops are always rammed so best to buy your smokes and head somewhere else to smoke.
Other good places for product is Grey Area and Barneys. Barneys is a good place to smoke.
I would then take your weed and head to Amnesia personally though. Proper chilled vibes in there. Tweede Kramer and Kandinsky are great too.

Kadinsky - cozy atmosphere, lovely view out of the front windows, sits at the front windows. "Big Buddha Cheese", "AK47" and "Gelato" - all had a nice quality to them and were easy and enjoyable to smoke. The chosen music was not always to my taste, but they also played some nice jazzy or soul tracks. I also tried the space cake there - it really glued me down to the sit. All in all it was my favourite
Easy Times - clublike atmosphere, even with a DJ, the stuff seemed stressed and it was really crowded. I couldnt really harmonize with the vibes of the place. They have a good selection of weed. "Tangerine cookies" - really nice smoke!
1ehulp - orientally stylized. Was full, when I came the first day. On the second day I got in. There are three levels and a couple of small alcoves... For me the place felt a kind of narrow, but it might have been the effect of the herbs... "Gorilla Skittlez"... Bought and rolled, hadnt tried, yet. They have moon rocks. But you have to walk a bit to get there.
Paradox - it felt like a student coffee shop (not in a bad way) The prices are cheaper compared to other places. The stuff is nice and friendly. It was the coffee shop with the most light...

Hey, if you fancy getting away from the tourist areas try the Westerpark district.
A couple of really nice Coffee shops in that area, first is Coffeeshop Chaputeau, it’s just a walk in service but the prices are insanely good, quality of the smoke is high and there always a line of friendly locals to chat to.
A couple of streets away from that is a Moroccan coffee shop called Coffeeshop Freedom (this one has seats),small but high quality menu and the hash is top class. Again mostly full of friendly of locals, highly recommend.
Plenty of nice restaurants in the area too. Well worth it if you fancy a break from the chaos.
A couple of really nice Coffee shops in that area, first is Coffeeshop Chaputeau, it’s just a walk in service but the prices are insanely good, quality of the smoke is high and there always a line of friendly locals to chat to.
A couple of streets away from that is a Moroccan coffee shop called Coffeeshop Freedom (this one has seats),small but high quality menu and the hash is top class. Again mostly full of friendly of locals, highly recommend.
Plenty of nice restaurants in the area too. Well worth it if you fancy a break from the chaos.
The plug is always a great stop, not to far from Dam square and has a great choice of Cali buds.

Not sure when was posted I am New to lb. If you have already been I hope you had a great time I absolutely love the place. My favourite is coffee shop jonny. Only 2 seats or something so pay and go place. Just a mention for voyagers personally never had any issue at this place always first stop because of proximity to central station.
Some are more up market than others. Some have higher prices in the more tourist areas. I had the best sativa ever there. We were there again recently. Such a great city in general. I felt safe there and had great experiences wandering about till 4am. Glasgow is much more dangerous at night. Just don't get too wasted

My ex was dutch and I've been there too many times to remember, 420 cafe mate it's got boom bud and its not as loud and cheesy as most of them, used to be cat that always attacked me, probably it's dead now, but yeah 420 cafe for me cant beat it, it used to be a pub, sitting at the bar with their bong is where you wanna be , also I forget the name but get a train to Rotterdam head for the bilderberg hotel , has no seats but the smoke is next level , plus it's good to get out of Amsterdam Rotterdam in my opinion is a better city just not as many coffee shops
I always liked Maastricht more than Amsterdam, a lot of the coffee shops are on barges and it's a nice city to explore without being bothered by street level dodgy boiis. Have a great trip OP and if you like chocolate milk then deffo get yourself some Chocomel (it's in a yellow bottle/can and it's the tits).
Is it a decent town mate? Desperate to go back but wouldn't go to Dam again. Had a look at Utrecht but Maastricht was always a bit of an ambition in those 3 trips a year days!

Awesome recommendation! However bear in mind they have 2 shops. I would recommend visiting the original one on Singel, previously known as the Dutch Flowers. All product is the same, but the shop itself is in a quieter area and a much nicer place to sit and enjoy your smokes! It's been a family favourite for 3 generations now!

Grey area was good it’s small and gets super busy and we happened upon a cafe called flower power, we brought these chocolate Bon Bons they were so thick and chocolaty but when you opened them up they were bright green, the guy who sold it to us was like just eat half, don’t eat a whole one and see how you get on. Me in my infinite wisdom thought fuck that I will be fine and ate the whole thing and woke up the next morning with recollection of the night before, my wife said I’d just passed out. Twat on tour but there we go I got excited I’d never been to Amsterdam before. Have a fucking awesome time.

The grey area is good but I love the stud and Ibiza they bit out of the way but so worth it. The stud dose €5,€10,€20 deals really good stuff and ibiza has some real out of this world type stuff.
Been a while, but I was very impressed with Greenhouse Koffeeshop in the 'dam (it's one of the most well known ones and was friendly). Very good quality menu. Had some Organic Trainwreck there that was amazing, even though I'm usually more of an Indica fan.
Not every Koffeeshop in the Dam is quality. Some sell crap, surprisingly. Others are weirdly hostile to foreigners. Seek out the good ones - there are loads.

Agreed mate! Had a true Strawberry Haze there too which was different to seed versions commonly available. Claimed to be 100% sativa (cant confirm or refute the genetics ) but fuck me i walked out with eyes lile id be on disco biscuits lol and set me up for a great afternoon walk ill tell you that. Best thing about Kadinskys is that great window open wide, just watching the world go by. Spent many an hour in that window as a solo smoker and is awesome for some people watching where you see some very interesting lol things

1E Hulp and Green Place are 2 of the best Smokeys and Bulldogs are shit but plenty of other great ones too.
Haarlem and Zandoort are also worth a short trip on the train from Amsterdam loads of great Coffeeshops there too and bit quieter and cheaper.

That's a shame but your defo have fun mate. I got stuck in a gin house my last time there it's in on of the side streets from the bulldog the red light district one lol it's the oldest gin house in the world check it out if you can.

Katsu in the de pijp area, a lot of locals use it. Lovely wee place,.great atmosphere and some great weed and hash.
My trip to Katsu was ruined by a group of loud London teens/early 20s. Shame. But the market was worth the walk :)
That's a shame, last time I was there a group of French students were in. They were quite loud as well, I was sitting at the bar rolling when they ordered a half and half joint. 20 minutes later they bought a full strength one. 15 minutes later? Uncontrollable giggling lol. I may well be slightly biased as I fell for the lassie tender, lovely hazel eyes

PAX 3 review
Hi folks, I recently purchased a PAX 3 dry herb vaporizer, it also works with concentrates (thin mint shatter already purchased from MJ) so thought In would drop a quick review. Been using it for two days only, so this is initial impressions, and I'll update after I've lived with it for a bit.
First off it's a lovely little weighty unit, feels well made and sturdy, components all feel solid and well made. As far as using it is concerned it's very straight forward, press it on, wait until it heats up (light on the front indicate when it's heating and when it's easy). If you download then app you can choose a range of smoking options, economic, flavor, standard, stealth mode etc that all heat at a range of temps depending on what you want to get out of it.
It's easy to pack the herb in, absolutely straight forward, the cover fits securely. You need to pack it in fighter than feels right, tight enough that it doesn't fall out when turned upside down.
I started on flavor setting, which heats it to around 230°c, flavor was incredible, like how you imagine it will taste when you smell it, but obviously when we set our herbs on fire it kills a lot of the flavor, the PAX releases the flavor into your mouth.
I took a few decent Tokes, surprised at how little smoke occurs, so I was concerned I was using it wrong, but a few mins later I got my reward. The stone is different from a bong (I don't do tobacco so can't comment on a joint), whereas I feel a bong gets a heavy stone, the PAX gives you a lovely calming relaxing and longer lasting stone I feel.....but I guess this result may vary from person to person.
When I felt that the herb had ran it's course I pumped the temp up to high and it started smoking again, slightly harsher smoke compared to the flavor mode, but this allows you to squeeze the goodness out of all the bud.
When it's done you knock it out and a dry little block of what smells like lovely toasty decarbed weed. I'm told you could actually smoke this and get a bump if you put it in a bong or whatever, so I'm going to keep the waste and give it a blast to see if that's true, will keep it for the next time I'm Dankrupt.
It cost me £219, which compared to a few quid for a bong then it's absolutely ludicrous, however I put enough weed in for probably 3 bongs and me and the wife toked away on it many times last night, so it definitely gets the most out of your weed, and if the Dankrupt tip is legit then it just makes it even better.
So far I'm happy with the purchase, especially as we have family coming over for dinner on Sunday and stealth is the order of the day. The price is a bitveye watering, but you can get it for much less if you don't choose the full package, I think it's about £160ish for just the standard pack, but you wouldn't be able to use concentrates.
Hope this gives anyone considering diving in a wee bit more food for thought.
